January 2, 201115 yr I thought all of Palmer's problems were fixed? I thought you were done posting about this? Told you that you need to stop saying that, because your always back. I have not changed what I have said the last few weeks, they do need to draft a QB. I would love to get like a Lockkard in the 2nd round. However you can't argue that Palmer and all the timing looks much better with receivers in the right spots. Palmer needs to portect the ball better obviously, but he is a guy that they should keep around for next year. If he struggles then play the young guy.
January 2, 201115 yr Unfortunately this franchise needs him to be good. They need to fill other holes.
January 2, 201115 yr Dezmon Briscoe is catching TDs in Tampa, and Corey Lynch is starting safety. We cut them, and win 4 games. They go elsewhere and have a shot at the playoffs....

January 2, 201115 yr Lynch is only with them because they have a ton of injuries. He's not very good. That's not my point. My point is our lack of quality coaching. They're still competing and winning with the players that we cut.
January 2, 201115 yr I thought all of Palmer's problems were fixed? Haven't you been paying attention? Palmer has no problems to fix. Now since we can't pin it out 81 and 85, we just have to sit here and wait for the apologists to tell us what or whom to blame... I can't wait to here it. these guys are gonna have to get pretty creative to clean up that mess.

I will give him a pass on the deep ball that was picked, he was trying to make something happen for once which I am OK with. The pick in the end zone was way behind the WR and got tipped right to Reed when he reached back. The fumble was just a fumble nuff said. He's just an average QB at this point that is all their is to it. There really isn't any excuses to be made for him. The numbers don't lie. HOWEVER you can't deny as a whole the offense has looked better the last 2 games without the reality Divas.

That's looking better. Yeah maybe last week. but that's one week. What everyone seems to be overlooking is the defense is looking better. Not the offense

You mean just like how you failed to notice how much better the offense was the last two weeks without those two. Yes also there was turnovers today, and believe it or not all QB's do make bad throws and Reed made him play like he does any qb. However if you don't see how much smoother the offense has looked without those two, then you must have been watching different games. How many times in the year did was see Palmer, TO, and Chad look at each other confused at where the other one was going. We have not seen that at all the last 3 weeks, and thast with guys who didn't get much reps throughout the year. He has to play better more consistently no doubt, however if you can't see that those receivers are also to blame then I don't know what you have been watching.
January 2, 201115 yr I don't know who called the play if it was Carson or the Brat. However I don't know why you don't put Simpson by himself to the right side instead of Caldwell.

Really, for us, it's hard to tell how much is on the recievers. We don't the routes, we don't know the hots. The one game that I went to this season, we had endzone seats. Perfect seats to see the routes develop, and who is coming open. Play after play Palmer locked on one guy then threw into coverage, while he had open guys down the field. I knew from that point that he was pretty much done. Whatever he did have he has lost. And like we all know we're gonna have to live with him for a few more seasons. He's the QB. He's the only person that touches the ball on ever offensive play. Playing good a couple games out of the season is not acceptable.
