The completed pass and fumble was one of the worst calls I have seen in a long time..

 

It's a good thing they were up by a ton or the stands would've cleared for that one. I think he knew he messed that one up....

My observations: I think they will need another receiver step up. Gould is like the TJ Houshmanzadeh he knows where to be and catches the ball. Outside of Goldy they are smaller guys. I wish Drake would play some WR, he looked fast and furious returning the pick 6. Compton is a horse he is very effective between the tackles. Streeter is the home run hitter I hope he gets more touches. The Defense looks a lot like last year they were awesome tonight.

I gave them a chane when I said they were the best in NKY and top 3-5 in the state :lol:

Streeter is a ton of fun to watch. Still needs to work on holding onto the ball but he's a threat every time he touches it.

I told you Manual would look lost!

As I predicted. Manual is trying to improve however ,and they are to be saluted for such.

Business as usual for the Birds.

 

I'd say the coaching staff definetly made some adjustments on defense. This offense is scary good.

Almost exactly as predicted. Let the hype begin for the birds second opponent on how much better they are than last year, etc.

The defense really made a statement tonight. The offense struggled a little with the passing game, but they didn't take any prisoners.

 

Birds DB's (Bruns and Abner) each had picks. Plenty of speed , can't see many teams trying to pass against them for a win !

As a CCH fan let me say I wish our issues were the ticket windows.

Can anyone add anything additional about Manual? Either Pro/con or both ???

I for one think Manual needs to simplify things on offense a little bit!!!! Way over there heads....IMO!!!

I have a question for Manual. Rumor was that the Manual team traveled to NKY Thursday night and spent the night in Bellevue and then had a lite practice at Thomas More. Why would a team do this? If you are not in school yet and you have the whole day to travel, why would you spend the night? I just feel that having your team spend the night in a hotel is unsettling opposed to spending the night in your own bed and getting a good night sleep. Get up and start your day.

 

 

Sleeping in your own bed is definately a better sleep then a hotel room.
