Where was Cousins today?

You gotta admire the run they put together (UK), but this one hurts.

Cousins finished with 15 points & 14 rebounds.

Cousins was getting swallowed up by the UT zone that UK couldn't shoot their way out of.

Correcto!:thumb:

I am not shocked by this loss at all! Kind of reminds me of 1978.:thumb:

2 for 22 from 3, backdoors all day, didn't get back in transition,,easy formula for losing.

He was lost and not focused at the start of the game but he did finish with 15 points and 14 rebounds. I thought UK didn't go to PPat near enough. Also Bledsoe is a total mess, lazy on Defense when he is on the ball. He needs to sit much more. I think he is a little full of himself and Cal needs to yank him just like he does others.

It's the Perfect Storm.

And was still in a position to win the game. It will be interesting to see how Kansas responds to their huge deficit.

Very surprised to hear Cal say that he cancelled the morning shoot around (this was the first visit for lots of these guys to TB arena). I thought that was a huge factor in their bad shooting night. This team will be just fine going forward, this is just a small bump in the road. 27-2 is still music to my ears.

1. UK must shoot the three better

2. Cut down on stupid turnovers

3. Bledsoe needs to quit trying to outplay Wall.

If these dont change early exit in the NCAA

Game decided by 3 things:

- UT's 2-3 matchup zone that UK just didn't figure out today

- Interior and transition defense was not present for UK; Vols shot layups all day

- Wall's turnover combined with Hopson's 3-pointer in the final minute

Bonus points to the officials, as well

Disagree on interior defense. When is Wall and Bledsoe ever going to consistently stop a guard from penetrating into the lane and making the bigs have to rotate over.

Agree with you on the official, even the announcer was shocked in the first half when no foul was called on Bledsoe's drive to the basket.

What about 1978?

I hate to lose but sometimes it makes a team stronger to have there weaknesses exposed to them ,also . But I just don't like losing to Bruce Pearl .

Anybody catch his "semi-moonwalk" late in the game?

KU loss to OKst Win Yeah Travis Ford! If UK would have showed up we could have been No. 1!

None of your 3 points even come close to the most important reason for their loss. There 3 point shooting was horrifying. The last thing I saw it said they went 2-22 from behind the arc. 10% will not do the job come March.

I see it that way too. Bledsoe and Wall make some great plays defensively but they do struggle against PGs who will take them to the hole.
