February 27, 201016 yr This game shows the faults of UK and will be their downfall in the NCAA tourney. No outside shooting at all. Wall and Bledsoe and just not a threat and they will be facing a zone the rest of the year. Where has Dotson gone? Wall is not great but Bledsoe is no show on defense. Bledsoe can't or won't guard a fence post. When UK was making their run, twice in a row Mayes just took him straight to the basket. On the three pointer by Hopson, Cousins had to hedge to to help Bledsoe and they throw it back to Hopson for the wide open three. Also, way to many stupid turnovers. Wall with the game tied in the lane and Miller lost it out of bounds and a great block. Bledsoe needs an attitude ajustment or find some pine time.
February 27, 201016 yr Shouldn't be a surprise… Most figured it to be unreasonable to expect the Cats to run the table in the last 6 games, personally I wouldn't be surprised to see them drop one more.
February 27, 201016 yr UK's 3 point shooting is getting worse every game, if that's possible. I can't see them going past the Sweet 16 if that is not corrected. Everyone will defend them pretty much like Tennessee did today.
February 27, 201016 yr 42 points in the paint for UT, that was huge. For UK to have the biggest team in the NCAA that is not good at all.
February 27, 201016 yr I agree with bledsoe. Need to get his minuets down till he at least decides to play D. His offense isn't worth his lack of defensive effort.
February 27, 201016 yr Wish that I was on ole Rocky Top Down in the Tennessee hills Ain't no smoggy smoke on Rocky Top Ain't no telephone bills Once I had a girl on Rocky Top Half bear the other half cat Wild as a mink but sweet as soda pop I still dream about that Rocky Top you'll always be Home sweet home to me Good ole Rocky TopRocky Top Tennessee Rocky Top Tennessee Once two strangers climbed ole Rocky Top Lookin' for a moonshine still Strangers ain't come down from Rocky Top Reckon they never will Corn won't grow at all on Rocky Top Dirt's too rocky by far That's why all the folks on Rocky Top Get their corn from a jar

He's just not getting much done lately. Turnovers, stupid decisions, forced shots and drives, 0 defense. Give someone else a chance and see what happens.
February 27, 201016 yr Game decided by 3 things: - UT's 2-3 matchup zone that UK just didn't figure out today - Interior and transition defense was not present for UK; Vols shot layups all day - Wall's turnover combined with Hopson's 3-pointer in the final minute Bonus points to the officials, as well  UK shoots 20 percent from the field for most of the game, ends up 35%. Has a stretch of about 3 minutes where Wall gets all the calls to get them back in the game, they had 6 less fouls than UT and shoot probably 10 more free throws on the ROAD and there is bonus points to the officials. I guess there really are UK fans and then there are basketball fans.:idunno:
February 27, 201016 yr Kentucky really hasn't played well offensively since the Arkansas game. If this team doesn't start hitting from the outside it's going to be a lot shorter tournament than most are hoping for.
February 27, 201016 yr Let's be honest here, though. UK played like absolute garbage today, Tennessee played pretty much as well as they can play, and the game was tied with a minute to go. Fix the outside shooting and I think this game is a UK "W".
February 27, 201016 yr UK got out hustled in the first half, then combine that with terrible shooting and poor defense and you have the recipe for a loss. Bledsoe's lack of solid defense was very evident today.
