rojas4
Hoops Yada, are you sure Mack had 31. I thought he had 26. Either way he was a force.

I grabbed a Scott Co. stats page - that does not make it official by any means... Those boys do a good job, but they also had Mack with 8 total rebounds - 7 offensive and 1 defensive - and I'm not buying that either. I didn't see the official book. Hoops Yoda
Most of the best players in the region are underclassmen. Scott Co. only loses Walls from the starting 5. Mack from Bryan Station, Moses and Boyd from Henry Clay, Mackey, Portwalls, Jordan Lee - all juniors.
The Ghost
PLD has some of the most forgiving rims I have ever seen. I saw line drives that would hit the rim and go straight down on any other rim, crawl in tonight on a few occasions. Its an offensive gym. Air pressure in the ball has more to do with that than the rim. If it has too much, you get those "long rebounds". Just right (kind of flat to some people) and the ball will bounce more and go in more. Just a "HINT" from an old broken down official to the younger ones reading out there! :jump:

Warmups and all. If you were there, you would know it was the rims more than anything.

I understand that air pressure in the ball helps some too, but its a great feeling for a shooter to go out and have those soft rims.
Hoops Yoda
The Dunbar rims are the kind that break down on the front and on the side. I think they must have invited Rod Lyvers to come back and break them it. They were very forgiving.
ScottCoFan
Does anyone know why Tubby Smith attended this game?
bellalumni40
Maybe a chance for Mackey to de-commit. Walls has been given the chance to walk on. UK has been in contact with Jordan Lee. Mack is a ball player, and maybe he is taking a look at him. Maybe he just likes basketball and this was the game to watch in the area.
Hoops Yoda
Does anyone know why Tubby Smith attended this game? They invited Matt Walls to the Vandy game. Hobbs was at the Henry Clay game. They are giving him a serious evaluation. He's a good enought player and kid to deserve it.
rojas4
UK better get a couple Kentucky kids soon. Have you noticed the average UK fan isn't as rabid about UK basketbal as when Kentucky actually had a few Kentucky kids?
