If no head to head available, it goes to best W-L-T percentage in the conference.  In your scenario, both would be 8-3 against the AFC.  Then it goes to best W-L-T percentage among common opponents, minimum of four.  In this scenario, both would also be 8-3 in those games (Titans, Dolphins, Ravens, Steelers, Chiefs, Jets, Browns, Patriots).  At that point, it goes to strength of victory.  Currently, the Bengals are just ahead on that.  I have no idea how that gets calculated, and who knows where that ends up.  But I agree, that if Bengals win and Bills lose, that they likely just let it go to this scenario and let the chips fall as they may.  I think pretty much any other combo leads to them making it up.  Because if both win and KC loses, then the winner of their matchup would be the top seed.  If the Bengals lose, then they'll need a decision in that game in order to determine the division winner between them and Baltimore.  If Buffalo wins and KC wins, they'll need a decision to determine the #1 seed.  It's a mess.

I think that is a pretty scathing analysis of the play. 

As opposed to it being exactly what it was and what is usually taught - you get up field once you realize there is no way running laterally will ultimately result in more yardage - and it is literally all Tee Higgins did. There's no point in Scott mentioning it because it is the type of play that happens basically infinitely each week.

Exactly, Scott took a run of the mill football play and used it as a talking point and the talking point can only be made by insinuating that Higgins did something wrong.

Not to mention the fact that he's purely speculating that the play had anything to do with the medical emergency that occurred afterwards.

I don't want to pick on Bart Scott but I do want to say (as numerous people have pointed out) that Tee Higgins needs our love and support now too.  I couldn't even begin to imagine what he is going through right now.

This is what I was telling all my fellow beer vending buddies I'd do...if they were to finish the game.

Pro Bowl is just a skill competition anyway and doesn't affect the Super Bowl date.

I kinda wish they just give all teams the week off and push everything back a week. And who knows about this game.

We all realize it is a huge story but with no updates I wish they would all ramp it down. It puts all the broadcasters in impossible situation repeating the same talking points over and over and if you stray, like Bart did, you potentially ruin your career. 

9/11 syndrome.   Just stay on the air and repeat the same stuff over and over again, but for the love of god, don't be off the air when something new does break.
