Mine too. March 21st 1984. I almost 14 and me and some of my older cousins (they were 16 and 17 and able to drive) told a series of little white lies and drove up to Philly to catch the show. We scalped tickets for something like $15, sat in the nosebleeds of the Spectrum. Still one of the best times I've ever had in my life.

I was in college before I got to go to another concert, which was I'm embarrassed to say was UB40. I went strictly in an effort to win over the girl I went with who was my first college crush. I was successful, and we had a wonderful 30 day relationship before we got tired of each other.

It was great living near Philly because everyone stopped in Philly, and there were a bunch of cool concert venues besides the Spectrum.

Metallica 1997 at The Cincinnati Coliseum, I was 14 and a Sophomore in high school. My dad was the house electrician for the Coliseum so we got seats right above the penalty box chest level with the stage (he obviously could go right to the ticket box for us). Corrosion of Comformity opened for them. It was cool but they played to many songs from the Load album, I wanted all the old stuff. The next summer they came to Riverbend and it was way better, mosh pits going the whole time and the set list was 90% old stuff.

AC DC Back in Black tour.   What a concert to break in on.  

The Beatles.   August 1966....I was 11-almost 12 years old.  The concert was in Memphis at the Mid-South Coliseum.    I went with a friend and his parents.  We had seats probably only 20 rows from the stage, in the center.   I could barely hear them, the screaming was so loud the entire concert.  When we were leaving, there were teenage girls broken down from crying and screaming...I was freaked out.  The highlight of the evening was the burger and shake from Shoney's Big Boy.  I did like the Beatles, just not the concert atmosphere....that pretty much has remained the same through the years with any concert.   

As a side note, I never attended one of his concerts, but I met Elvis, when I was 5 years old.  I was fascinated by cool cars, and there was one parked across the street from my house at the Wood's home.  I knocked on their door and asked if I could look at it.   It belonged to the boyfriend of Anita who lived there.  He came out and showed me his car and was very nice.   I had no concept of who he was at the time, as my mother explained it to me later.

(For reference, I grew up about a mile from Graceland.)
