Coach Matney is having a rough time with his health issues. He was transported to Cabell Hospital last night and didn't do too well during the transport. Johnson Central is having a vigil for Coach Matney today at their football field at 3. 

 

Thoughts and prayers are with Coach Matney and his family.

    From what I've heard he came in contact with COVID after the Henry Clay game. He then since Friday 9/3 had a stroke and was transported to Cabell Hospital. While in route his oxygen dropped low and was placed on a ventilator where he remains.

    Prayers for coach and his family. May not have always liked him as a coach but he is a good one.

    Since the last update, Jim has woken up a couple of times. The nurse asked him if he could feel her touching his arm. He nodded yes. We are praying for his oxygen levels to improve.
