I know nothing for fact. I’m just going by what I read on here. I have to believe they reached out to Wolfe though.

That I don’t know.  I would just assume that if they were the types to reach out, that Wolfe would have been their first call (or at least in their short list).  Then again, maybe they didn’t pick up the phone to him or anybody.

If teachers attempt to break their contracts during the school year, they can have their license revoked. I've seen it before when a teacher get mad in November and leaves during Christmas, the school calls the EPSB and has their certificate pulled. 

Schools probably catch more flack if a football coach does it though.

This thread just keeps evolving.  Now we are talking about teachers breaking contracts?  WTH

 

My concern with this coaching "hunt" is that the school is going to miss out on some good applicants because of unrealistic expectations of who wants the job.

Thinking the same thing. 
 

If Highlands hires “the guy” people will try and call foul, if they make a sound but not the preferred hire and it’s the same ole same ole then all will be good with the onlookers as that coach might not be a threat. 
 

When I say threat, I am talking about Highlands back on top. The Highlands supporters obviously want that but there are many others on here and across the state that want to see Highlands fail again.  
 

For these reasons, I can see why nobody is revealing information in fear of someone screaming foul. Sorta like when a PGA golfer commits a non intentional or innocent penalty on tv and someone calls in and reports it even though nobody saw anything on the course but all of a sudden technology comes into play and it’s a game changer. 
 

Probably some of that going on now imo.

I am a little confused by what you are saying here.  How are they missing out on anything if the job has not been announced?  Has someone pulled their name from the applicants list because a decision has not been made yet?

Not that I know of, but if I put myself in their shoes, I'd be questioning the process. It seems like there's a lot of Wolfe talk for a guy who is seemingly uninterested. Doesn't seem like a good fit for the community or team, or especially the players on the committee. What kind of message is that sending to them?
