You know better than that GS. UVa is one of the few teams that can out-ugly UofL. They put that "novacaine" offense and defense on ya and next thing you know you wake up in the locker room with an L wondering what happened.

I've seen that movie and it usually ends with both teams scoring a grand total of 85 points. Atrocious games that I prefer to listen to on the radio.

Cal was correct in his post game press conference. UK isn't good enough (yet) to go into a Top 10 opponents gym and win.

Go ahead and celebrate / stir the pot, you deserve it. After all, U.L. has so few chances to do that vs. U.K.. :sssh: :thumb:

Gotta disagree with you on this part. Pitino didn't do anything in particular that 'Ol Roy didn't do on Saturday. Monk was just hitting insane shots that day. He was off today, for whatever reason. I was still terrified every time he rose up. Shot selection was still the same.

That's fair, imo he did make it a priority to keep a guy in his face most of the time. Monk did have a few open looks and just flat missed. I also thought that the U.L. pick / roll game worked well for them. UK didn't do a very good job in defending it.

Pretty much exactly what I expected. That first true road game is often like a swift kick to the privates.

Great win for Louisville. Happy for Q :thumb:

Football loss was MORE than worth it. :lol2:

I thought the same in reverse :lol2:

three things teams have to do to be really good and beat equal or really good teams. 1) Rebound 2) play good D and not allow easy baskets 3) make FT's 75% or better. We did not do any of these things tonight. On a positive note luckily it is only Dec. and not March.

Saw it comin' 2 miles away . Called it yesterday in the prediction thread .

I've yet to meet that fan, but point him my way next time he says anything about Q and I'll tell him how wrong he's always been. Snider has given me nothing to complain about his entire career.

People were ripping him like crazy after the Baylor game. Seen numerous UL fans say the exact same as I did on Twitter, so sounds like there are a lot out there.

Sorry if that came off as me doubting you. I believe it, I just think those people couldn't be more wrong.

Not really. UK got a good 20 points off transition. Especially first half.

How many points did they get off transition versus North Carolina? How many in their other games? I don't know the answer. I am asking. The 20 transition points might be their worst total of the season.

Cal's talent usually beats Rick's coaching.

I'll gladly take the football win over this.

Easy call.

Two key stats:

Bam 1-6 from the line (rest of the team was 78%)

Monk 1-9 from 3 point range
