Benghazi Investigator Says Committee Chair Broke The Law

Recommended Posts

Ex-Benghazi investigator Todd Podliska’s attorney is claiming that House Select Committee Chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-OK) has violated several federal laws.

MSNBC’s Ari Melber reported:

“Both Representative Gowdy and the committee have clearly violated terms of the confidentiality agreement and the Congressional Accountability Act,” said Peter Romer-Friedman, one of Podliska’s attorneys, to MSNBC on Monday afternoon.

Another GOP screw-up:

"The Republican-led House Select Committee on Benghazi hastily deleted the name of a high-level Libyan defector from one of its public releases on Monday, shortly after Yahoo News reported the panel had inadvertently revealed the defector’s name in an effort to embarrass Hillary Clinton.

"The disclosure, followed by the quick wiping out of the name of ex-Libyan foreign minister Moussa Koussa (who had defected and become a source for the CIA on Libya), once again put the panel on the defensive on the eve of Thursday’s slated testimony from Clinton."

Did anyone really believe this committee was formed to 'solve' the Libya issue? Being the skeptic, always believed it was to go after Clinton to discredit her in the upcoming election. if not, these GOP bozo's should be embarrassed for wasting all of this time/money.
