Did Drew Barker really do this?

I thought you meant that it's a good thing that there was not a derogatory tweet about Nazis when the USA beat Germany.

Got it, just glad he knew a little history.

I'm just glad there wasn't a record of every moronic thing I let fly out of my unfiltered piehole when I was 20.

No joke.

Or maybe you were smart enough to not share it with thousands of people.

He's immature, that's certainly obvious. He's also19 or 20 and full of pee and vinegar (better than having the world roll right over him). More than likely had a couple of "pops". I'm sure his parents will hopefully take care of the shenanigans, I know Coach Stoops will. He'll hear about it and I'm sure by now he knows how stupid the tweet was. He's got to remember he represents UK, at all times, being a scholarship athlete. Make him post a visual spoken apology and move on.

I've raised four kids through these tumultuous years (my wife would say I had not much to do with it, but that's a different story). For the life of me, I can't see why what a kid of that age says or does should engender so much commentary. They're kids. Who really cares what they think? If you're looking to them for guidance, God have mercy on your soul.

I hear ya brother.

You would think a 4 star qb would stay off Twitter and out bars. He should be in the gym working out, studing his play book, throwing to receives and try to do everything he can to get some playing time. His window is closing.

If he doesn't beat out Towles this year it's time to move on. The next 2 qbs will be better. Needs to keep his nose clean, so a smaller college will give him a chance.

No. That's likely not it at all. I predated the self promoting generation of twitter. Thank God.
I was gonna say.....I've seen that same tweet about 100 times in the past day. I honestly didn't even find it all that insensitive. :lol2: :idunno:

Shame on you for not being offended:)...

I would have had a blast with Twitter and Facebook if I had them in high school and college. A blast!!!!!!!

Speak for yourself.

Change the bolded to now that I'm 40, and I think this statement still applies to me.

Not going to lie, one of my friends had retweeted Barkers comments and my first reaction was to laught, followed by thinking that this would cause a stink.

Since when did being a 4 star anything keep any college age kid from doing dumb stuff ?

Good thing there's not a Publix in Lexington or...
