I'm well aware of the fact that it was a joke - it was a tasteless joke. Just because one person, or one group of people think is was okay and that people "shouldn't be offended" does not make it okay or not offensive.
July 7, 201511 yr It was an airsoft gun. Those can cause injury or death? And when that did occur, I was completely on-board with Stoops kicking all involved off the team. Still isn't anywhere close to punching a woman. Sure can , just ask the kid in the Cleveland park. Oh wait,he's dead. This one really made me laugh. The harm was in the panic that carrying a weapon on campus can create, and that is a real issue to be dealt with. Be honest, though, there wasn't any real threat to anyone of "injury or death". That's just hyperbole, and really funny. I know a heck of a lot of people that don't think play guns are funny. Start with police officers and bank tellers.

I misunderstood plantman's comment, thought he was saying the airsoft gun was going to injure or kill someone. You were right to call me out on that comment. :thumb:
