Golden State 103 Cleveland 79 (Game 4)

Recommended Posts

They shaded a help defender most of the game instead of playing him straight up. It opened up passing lanes and allowed reality to set in. Kerr finally figured out that Bron can beat you by himself, and the smarter strategy was to dare the other 4 guys to hit shots. They didn't and got run...

Dad calls this the Pete Maravich defensive strategy.

Even though James didn't go off this game, the Cavs still only scored about 5 or 6 points less than what they have typically been scoring in regulation this series even when James went off. Meaning the reason why this game wasn't close is because the Warriors offense didn't get shut down by the Cavs defense. If the Cavs defense played great again, they still would have had a chance in the end.

If this goes to 7, I like the Cavs. Warriors have shown more nerves in this series than Cleveland.

Cleveland's shooters have to eventually make some shots. More time for Jones and Miller if Smith is doing what he's done all series.

* JR Smith returned to being a Knick

* Della is dead man walking

* LeBron is tired

* Blatt is blatt

Cleveland best hope is to win Game 5 on two days rest and then win Game 7 on two days rest. Lose Game 5 and it could end in Cleveland on a short turnaround from Sunday night to Tuesday night.

Game 7 is not 2 days rest. Tuesday to Thursday.
