It was reported earlier this afternoon by Bob Myers on ESPN that Rich Paul has been making it clear to any team thinking of taking Bronny - DON'T. Leave him for his father's Lakers at 55.

Newslash for those who don't know how this works. Nobody was drafting Bronny unless the Lakers drafted him at 55 and it has zero to do with Rich Paul's threat. I'd be willing to bet he was not on a single team's draft board. This is nothing more than the Klutch hype machine doing its part.

Once it became clear Bronny was not a legit draft prospect (which was known once he took the court at USC), it became clear how this would unfold.

Will be interesting to see how he looks in summer league (if he plays) they play the Kings on July 6 and Warriors on July 7 and the Heat on July 10.
