Champs05 Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 A recently schedueled game last week. The 2 top seeds in NKY CCH and Beechwood square off. Who comes out on top?
Crossbar Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Depends on pitching. If Curley pitches... then CCH will have a tough time with the Beechies and their defense will have to hold up. Beechwood will ride Curley's arm as long as they can, and get their runs in before he goes out, unless he goes all the way.
Crossbar Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Wednesday at CCH. The time fails me, but I think it is somewhat early... I want to say 4:30, but don't quote.
Theoldguy Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 When and where is this game? Was told by one of the CovCath Mom's, that the game is Wednesday, but she didn't know whether it was at CovCath or Beechwood.....

cshs81 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 CCH's schedule says that the NC game that was supposed to be played on 4/3 has been rescheduled for 4/5. http://covcath.org/?page=baseball_var-schedule_2006
Crossbar Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I think NewCath game was rescheduled for Thurs?? On a side note.. is Romes taking the field for Wood?
cshs81 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 On a side note.. is Romes taking the field for Wood? Not that I know of. I'm guessing he's playing AAU b-ball.

cshs81 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I wouldn't see why Curley would pitch for an unscheduled game. Where are they in their rotation? I know he did not pitch in their last game and its probably been a week since he's pitched. That adds up to him pitching, I'd think.

bulldog77 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 With Curley or Moore on the mound Beechwood is the better choice IMHO. That said, I doubt they'll see either one before District or Regional tournament time, even if this is a seeding game.
cshs81 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 2 questions: 1. Is Beechwood on spring break? 2. Is it true some players decided to vacation this week?
