Where are they in their rotation? I know he did not pitch in their last game and its probably been a week since he's pitched.

Does it matter if its a non-scheduled game? Its the next game on the schedule. Its not a "practice" game so if its his turn, I'd expect him to go. He hasn't pitched since 3/29. Unless he has arm issues, I'd think Coach M would want to keep him on a regular schedule.

 

Secondarily, this has to be a trying season for the young man due to his sister's situation. I can't imagine what the family is going through. I hope the kid has a great year and , more importantly, his sister's health improves and the family can be together again.

I can agree with you here. His sister and the rest of his family are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. I have a lot of confidence in Curley's pitching this year and look forward to watching him over the summer, as he plays ball with my brother in the summer.

Curley will be back.

I just called someone and found out, that he will be back before the game tommorrow, as will Sawyer, but I dont think he will be playnig.

But very doubtful that Curley will pitch. I think Bob wouldnt want to give anything away before they play them for real.

He will throw a soph pitcher with almost no experience before he will throw Curley in this game. I could be wrong, but I would bet on it.

Yeah maybe thats what he'll do.

I would think that if Curley and others have been gone while school has NOT been on break and they return only in time for the game, they would be not be allowed to participate due to not having been in school for the day. That may be the reason he/others don't play. The decision may not rest with the coach.
