While I hope it doesn't happen, could this guy get charged with assault and/or battery? While in the process of being mugged or attempted to be mugged, he would have been legally justified in beating these guys up (within reason obviously, he couldn't beat them to unconsciousness) but once the threat is over, I don't believe the law always you to go "teach a lesson" or get revenge.

 

Again, I hope he doesn't get charged or if so, it is plead down to a very small charge, but I believe he could be charged.

Totally agree. Glad for what he did but he will be sued...
