Open Jobs/Filled Jobs 2014-2015

Most of those jobs are terrible. McCracken may be ok

McCracken from the standpoint of facilities, quality of the school, quality of players and overall location (being in at least a small city) is a top 15 job in the state....the rest, I agree are pretty bad.

The Louisville schools are intriguing because as has always been the trend for the "have-nots" of Jefferson Co., from that list of Moore, Wagener, and Seneca, at least one will make a run of like 9-3 or 10-2'ish in the next four years...though it's a crap-shoot which one it will be.

can confirm this.

What happened at PC. Moving to a better district for them. Had a good young hard working coach.

Thanks, Harry. If I'd had to pick, I would have said you or gchs_uk9 were going to be the one to post this. :thumb:

I feel like I let you down CWB! :lol2:

Yep. Forced out but yes, he has resigned.

Just like his Dad was forced out at Mercer. That still irritates me.

No way that Chuck Smith leaves Boyle UNTIL after he has completed the years he needs in public school to get a full retirement from the state.

What would an asst at the level of school make? If it's 100 or more I bet his bag is packed. Heck you can buy retirement years and you just get 30% of sick days.

Troy has already hired a few defensive assistants including Vic Koennig Jon Sumrall. I don't think Chuck is going anywhere.

That...I can't talk about just yet.

Hearing all these coaches forced out makes me think these Principals and Superintendents are thinking their schools are in the SEC West. I thought high school football was about building character and life lessons. Last time I checked most public high schools can't recruit athletes so they have their hands tied with that. I understand if they were stealing money or abusing Kidd but if a coach is running a sound program and producing young men who get it done in the classroom and life, IMO they should never be let go. In most jobs in KY, I understand some programs you've got to win at, this list has only 1 job like that, McCracken.

Tony Lockhart could get some consideration

I know you would have been all over it if Harry didn't already have it post already. No worries. :lol2:

Local Legend. Deal Closer. Play Caller. Dynamic Human Being. I'd hire him in a heartbeat.

Who?
Who?

How does this guy not have a head coaching job yet?

The guy puts kids in the right positions to make plays. Hell of a coach at Greenwood, was on that staff that went to the semi finals, Mark Nelson's right hand man.
