I don't know anything about their other programs. I'll just wait and see what excuses are being made 3 years from now. They should be winning since their district will be significantly easier.

Any front runners on McCracken?

Todd is still the HC, to my knowledge there is no coach in waiting. It wouldn't shock me to see him step away soon with his son playing at Murray.

 

I think Todd will stay as HC until AD job opens up. They not only lost Dawson but several others also stepped down for various reasons. Lots of job opportunities there. Still good young coach by the name of Edwards still on staff. Lead JV to undefeated season.

Chad's a good dude. Has done a good job. Looking at their roster, it looks like they lose all of their offensive production including their QB who I'm guessing is Chad's son?

 

The new realignment didn't look to do them any favors as a region. 2nd in their district will probably be up for grabs most years...grab that spot, have a shot at a playoff win. Nothing like having 3 of the top teams in your class most years smack dab in your district and/or region.

With the right person, yes it can be. However the move up to 6A will make it tougher. In a district with Ballard, Eastern, Seneca, and Trinity.

By my count, there has been 9 jobs just come open alone in Jefferson County in the last two years (and, we are just a few weeks into this off-season..to think there is already 10 openings before the State Finals....wow....not shocked, but wow).

according to JCPS job site Waggener, JTown, Seneca and Moore are all open.
