January 29, 201412 yr Final. LSU fans were right: OVERRATED. (Including the super-freshmen). I think we all learned our lesson this year on that. We also need to remember big guards mean slow guards.

January 29, 201412 yr The Cats played poorly. The coach really has to be held responsible for a lot of this, by not using his bench. His starters stunk most of this game and he let them play evebn when it was apparent they did not have it. The Cats will dominate LSU in Lexington.

January 29, 201412 yr Really kinda wonder why we didn't see a bit more of Hawkins to help on defense with his speed. Have to wonder if his offense kept him on the bench? Although the Harrison's weren't doing much on offense until the last 3 minutes of the game.....

Davis is the 3rd best player the NBA now. It was a freak season, take away that class and Brandon Knight and I don't know how this experiment goes.

The same stuff was said about the Brandon Knight team and we saw how that went. This team is very frustrating though. This team could very easily be one of those teams upset in the 1st round but also just as easily could be a final four team with a chance at the title. However they are slowly running out of time to fix these mistakes they continue to make.
January 29, 201412 yr I'm sick of saying how lucky we were to watch the 2012 team. It's 2014 and this team isn't as good as originally advertised. The good thing is 2-3 of these players will be gone next year and the squad will be silly talented and deep next year. There will be growth te rest of this year but I'm starting to be convinced a deep run in the NCAA may not be in the cards. All I can hope is they turn it on like the 2011 team who struggled like this as well.
January 29, 201412 yr Gonna have to find a way to play better defense. WCS is the only defensive player on the team, and who knows where his head is at? Hawkins isn't ready but couldn't have been muc worse than what we witnessed from the Harrisons. Right now, none of these guys are ready for the NBA, Randle included. Still have time to turn it on or improve. The Knight team was really similar to this team in terms of how they were up and down.
