Had both Joella's and Nashville Hot over the weekend. Both were very good, Joella's was better.

 

I like both but prefer Nashville Hot. Seems like their chicken has been the moistest. I like the location better, I think it's cool it overlooking that train track.

No, Orange Leaf is in that spot. It's amazing how many places have called that place home. I believe it was a GD Ritzy's originally.

On the right side you would pass the Mattress joint, then you would have a strip mall, then the entrance to HH Gregg on the right. You would pull in an take an immediate right to enter that strip mall, Kabobske is on the far south end right when you pull in the lot.

Both are outstanding. Pit to Plate is rough but in a homey / lovable kind of way. Walt's is rough in a something could go down at any minute kind of way. Kind of the like the difference between Alabama Fish House and the Louisiana Fish Bar on Queen City.

I actually relocated my favorite recently. Velvet Smoke that had a spot at Findlay Market moved out to Harrison and I was a regular for 2 plus weeks covering UC camp out at Higher Ground. I'm a sucker for quality Burnt Ends and they have the best in the city BY FAR. It's in a BP off the last Harrison exit on 74 before you enter Indiana. Put it on your list...

Had sushi at Saki Bombs yesterday and it was very good. Place is on Dixie Highway near the Taco Bell and McDonalds. Owner is a really nice guy as well.

They have a sandwich that is burnt ends, provolone, onion straws, Sriracha and bbq sauce on Texas toast that is phenomenal...
