All State Teams for Soccer

Recommended Posts

They have been released but it is the same old thing, the coaches who vote put their players down to make the state team even if they do not deserve it!!!

One kid (male) from Louisville is on 1st team all state who's coach votes every year and gets a vote from other coaches so their players get on the team. This kid is not good enough to play D3 soccer when we have kids going D1 who are not on the all state team. JUST A JOKE!!!

ive been following high school soccer all year and the players ive been watchin are some of the lexington teams players. lexington catholic deserves more players than there was on all state. some players that deserve some attention are cameron milligan, logan hall, and luke quire. all season they lead their team and dominated whoever they played. logan hall is one of the best players ive seen all high school soccer. he scored inn the all state game and dominated his opponents. lex cath was very unlucky not to win state. they seriously killed dunbar.... they dominated all game.

They failed to dominate Dunbar the one place it mattered; on the scoreboard. The regional final match was on Lexington Catholic's home pitch as well so they should have no complaints. They lost two out of three this season to Dunbar so I am not sure how they were very unlucky?

Logan was first team. From what I heard the region loss was dominated early by Dunbar. By the way, look how many Lexington players are on here. A good chunk play club soccer together, talk about a scary team.

Congrats to Jimmy Uebel and Kyle Frimming of Bishop Brossart as well as everyone else.

Uebel was not even close to player of the year or all state. Top 5 in this end of the state at best. All he had was power and a decent shot.

He faced constant double teams and the emphasis of the orther teams' defense; so apparently his peers thought highly of him!! Still had offensive stats comparable to anyone in NKY. Who in your (obviously more informed than the coaches who voted for him) opinion was more deserving?? I'll go out on a limb and guess you're gonna' say Kevin Murphy??

Still barely top 5 in NKY?? Did you actually see him play this year????

I can tell you another player who played in Louisville who playes aginst the best teams in Louisville, is Kennedy Nawaka. He ONLY had 36 goals this year and scored against the best in the state. With his grades and his ability on the field he will be going to a very good D1 school in soccer!
