5A #1 Covington Catholic vs. 6A Campbell County

CovCath (9-0) looks to wrap up its second straight unbeaten regular season by welcoming Campbell County (6-3). Last year's meeting, their first since 2012, resulted in a 49-13 victory for the Colonels.

Colonels just need to focus on staying healthy.

I figure, like last year, this will be the Colonels pulling ahead early, and then putting in substitutes. If I'm not mistaken, all of Campbell County's points last year were scored in the second half once Cov Cath had pulled their starters. Seems like a pretty likely scenario again this year.

Will be interesting to see the Big WR for Campbell against big defenders of the Colonels. How do you think Jolly does with bigger defenders gaurding him? Lot of chatter about his size that no one seems to give him credit for.

Reid Jolly is 6'5", 220 lbs. He has 837 yards receiving, which accounts for over 35% of Campbell County's total 2279 offensive yards this season. He accounts for almost exactly two-thirds (66.7996%) of Campbell County's 1253 yards receiving this year. I definitely don't expect that to be missed in Cov Cath's defensive scouting reports.

Campbell County doesn't have the run game of last year...didn't matter against CCH but this year CC is more one dimensional but pressure can force issues with anyone. I see CCH sitting starters early and winning by 21 with a 35-14 score.
