CyrusJS
Count us in for an all-Kentucky NCAA basketball tournament Think this would be an amazingly fun thing for college basketball fans in Kentucky to enjoy every year. Some good suggestions about how to do it are in the article. Indiana already does something like this and I think Kentucky could perfect that concept. TheDeuce
Cal would never agree to it.

ManOfTroy
At best, you get the "other 4" teams (or however many) playing each other and whatever two teams come out of that could play either UK or UofL, at their place, in two separate games. GrantNKY
No chance, but just imagining the idea for a second is really cool. I know UK nor UofL would do it, but it would be cool if they were road games. Imagine UK playing in Diddle or BB&T. That would be awesome and a really cool event. bugatti
Cal would never agree to it. I do not think UK or UL would subscribe to some wacky round-robin tournament idea, but it is plausible to see a scenario where they play a handful of games in one day at Rupp or the Yum! Both UK and UL play in-state teams every year, so it is not far fetched to think it could be featured differently. Unfortunately we do not have another neutral major venue to showcase the event like Indiana does.
75center
It would be fun.
Wireman
Kentucky could host their games at Louisville and vice versa. That would be fun.
futurecoach
No way UK and UL would want to play each other twice in a month span. Probably could rotate years who is in it between UK and UL. When UK is the host they play in it and UL doesn't. When UL host, UL plays in it and UK doesn't.
CyrusJS
The article addresses some of the concerns you all mentioned. Tie the UL/UK yearly game into this tournament. Give the two teams with the highest RPI from the previous season automatic “bye’s” into the semifinals. That way UK/UL will still play each other every year unless the lose in the semifinals against WKY/NKU/EKU/MSU/Morehead. This tournament would make a killing. The fan bases of all these teams + basketball fans across the state would love to spend a weekend taking in great basketball. Could make it for Charity or something as a way to blackmail UKY or UL into participating haha.
