Little too exited sister is flagged and ejected in first OT.

Western Michigan football won an epic, seven-overtime game at Buffalo, 71-68, on Saturday.

But just as odd as that marathon game was what happened after one of the many touchdowns.

WMU tight end Donnie Ernsberger (Battle Creek Lakeview) caught a 14-yard touchdown pass in the first overtime. But after coming down with the ball, Ernsberger wasn't met by his teammates in the end zone, but reportedly by his sister who ran onto the field for a hug.

To the bolded: What?

The stat sheet for this game was every bit as fascinating to me as the LexCath-Western Hills one was. Video game stuff.

Can someone please find one for this Ballard Memorial-Crittenden Co. game?

His sister ran on the field and started hugging her brother. It wasn't a little girl either she appeared to be a college student as well. The team got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
