Shumate hands down.

New Cath has always been some what decent, this is Schumate's second year and he had the Beechwood Tigers in the regional tournament out of one of the hardest districts in the state!! Also Beechwood is a division three school.

Shumate hands down. He beat the big schools while coaching at Beechwood. Thats impressive knocking off the likes of Conner, Highlands, Cov Cath, and Ashland in the AIT. :dancingpa

Maile and Isler should have been the representatives from the ninth region.

The kid was picked off on first I thought. Snyder made an excellent throw and I thought he was definately out. Good thing the wood prevailed. :ylsuper:

Execution cost CCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:isurrender::isurrender::isurrender::isurrender:

A.J. Smith threw straight fastballs against New Cath and they didn't even get a hit. I think Sanolia will be very effective. I will take Highlands 5 to 4

Smith had a CT scan this morning and is waiting on clearance to play from Dr.

Beecwood Smith: Please let me clarify Mr. CCH Longball; Smith did not pitch three games. Meyerhoff is much to smart for that.

The first no hitter was against Newport Catholic and the second no hitter was last Friday against Holmes on senior night.

CCHlongball is correct. @nd no hitter was against Holmes last Friday night.

Perhaps you are talking about his younger brother. He pitches for the JV team though??

Rick Shumate : Because Nostradamus said so!:ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper:

Rick Shumate will be the new coach.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Brian Romes is an outstanding basketball player. He works incredibly hard in the off season to be a unbelievable competitor. I know Mount St. Joes coach has to be extremely happy on getting such a high caliber player. He does it all and occasionally throws down a nasty dunk. Congrats to Brian and his family.

In 2009 look for Beechwood to make a run for the 9th region championship. I think Shumate leads them to Rupp Arena. Go Shumate! :dancingpa

Please explain to me how he is not even in the top 3 pitchers in Nky? I just do not get it? He throws harder than every pitcher that you named and if his control is there this year like it was last year, we will see who will be laughing at the end of the season. :dancingpa

Smith is better than all of them you obviously do not watch high school baseball very closely. If he played for Ryle he would be the best player in the region.:ylsuper:

Lest we not forget Latin school greats Jeff Stowers had a heckuva career at NKU; much less Brian O'conner Thomas More, age 16, drafted by the NY Knicks and played in the CBA.

Seems everybody is kind of delegating Beechwoods team to a bridesmaid. I saw them play about 4-5 times last year with only one player with varsity exerience. To get to semi finals at Freedom quite an accomplishment for Coach Meyerhoff. I'm not giving Beechwood the title but with hitters like Elliot, Slusher, Gohs,Morris, and Miller \returning.. they are probably the most experienced varsity teams based on returning 8 starters and 3 starters in pitching. could have alot of help in close games.

:ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper: Congrats to soph Daniel oconner leading the Eagles in rebounding :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: :ylsuper:

Don't overlook Beechwood's 2 other pitchers Hadden & Smith.

any names of these players where does the lions rate in the 16u leagues

I'm sure Ryle likes Strike 3's typo with Shs insteas of Dunbar :jump: :jump: :thumb:

Any complete all tourney teams listings yet? :dancingpa  :dancingpa :ylsuper:
