  1. Maybe she’ll bring her team.
  2. I was on zoom. The pond is deceivingly large, but only 11’ deep at its deepest end. It seems even bigger when negotiating a kayak around it haha.
  3. Smallmouth bass, panfish, grass carp for cleaning and had Telapia until January.
  4. I have a 13 acre pond on my farm, and in the winter I regularly have four or five bald eagles dive-bombing the pond for food. I attached a video I took from my porch. In the summer, the eagles are replaced by Ospreys. This is in Snowdoun, Alabama. IMG_9569.mov
  5. I would recommend to check out some more info as well. "Syria is now the epicenter of Captagon production". There is an enlightening article..."The Syrian Economy at War", written by COAR (center for operational analysis and research) that is available on line.
  6. Captagon is big business for Syria.
  7. Being a Buff alum., I am taking a wait and see like most others. It is quite the spectacle regardless.
  8. When are they finally going to get Dewey out of the railroad industry? 🙂 Seriously, my prayers for those affected by this now and in the future.
  9. Yep…congratulations to Xavier, but that is what I saw as well.
  10. It is disquieting to realize the evil that exists in this world.
  11. Arkansas is the most foulingist, whiniest team I’ve ever seen.
  12. Your buddy texts you and says meet me and bring your gun….what do you think is going to happen? PS: I posted this before I saw Jumperdad’s comment so not directed at that…just generic.
  13. Thankfully, I haven't gotten it. Mrs. doomer did, and she was pretty ill for a couple of days, then she was ok.
  14. As a side note, I never attended one of his concerts, but I met Elvis, when I was 5 years old. I was fascinated by cool cars, and there was one parked across the street from my house at the Wood's home. I knocked on their door and asked if I could look at it. It belonged to the boyfriend of Anita who lived there. He came out and showed me his car and was very nice. I had no concept of who he was at the time, as my mother explained it to me later. (For reference, I grew up about a mile from Graceland.)
  15. The Beatles. August 1966....I was 11-almost 12 years old. The concert was in Memphis at the Mid-South Coliseum. I went with a friend and his parents. We had seats probably only 20 rows from the stage, in the center. I could barely hear them, the screaming was so loud the entire concert. When we were leaving, there were teenage girls broken down from crying and screaming...I was freaked out. The highlight of the evening was the burger and shake from Shoney's Big Boy. I did like the Beatles, just not the concert atmosphere....that pretty much has remained the same through the years with any concert.
  16. I see them often at night....but then I'm south of Montgomery, Alabama.
  17. I always have a knife with me. When I am on the farm, I carry one that has a blade and a hoof pick for the horses in case I am with the horses and suddenly need one. Off the farm I carry a switch blade that also has a cord cutter and glass break tip. The key to carrying a knife is to maintain the blade.
  18. I think UK rights the ship tonight.....at least for a game.
  19. Disappointing loss for Memphis. Missed free throws down the stretch and turnovers killed them. Tulane has their number this year. Memphis is running out of time to get two key players back from injury…Lomax and Dandridge who have been out a while now.
