Not sure if anyone has seen all of this mess? Star player Brandon Miller was suspected to supply a gun, and block off the victim so that the guy could be shot and killed. 

It came out last night that he is no longer under investigation, and an hour later he scored 37 points, including a game winning shot. 

What do you all think? I believe it is sketchy being dismissed so early. 

I wondered when we would get this thread.

I'd really like to see the exact text messages exchanged between Miller and the shooter/owner of the gun. From what I understand, that potentially changes everything and whether or not Miller should be charged with an accessory to murder.

Nate Oates initial press conference was really bad and deserves any heat he's gotten.

This has been on going for at least 2 weeks now.  No sense even going there, sounds like the Mixon deal.

Seem to be a lot of questions that haven't been answered, at least publicly yet. Miller's Attorneys statement of course puts Miller in the best light possible. It may be 100% factually correct, if it is then Miller was at worst an unknowing accomplice to murder.

If Miller was aware there was a beef and knew or could assume what could happen if he took the other guy his gun, then I think he should be charged as an accessory to murder. 

The text messages would be key in determining which way this will go for Miller in my opinion also. 

Your buddy texts you and says meet me and bring your gun….what do you think is going to happen?

During introductions today, another player did a "Pat-down" or "Frisk" of Miller who stood there with his arms up.

Talk about being tone deaf to a serious situation...jeez!

 

 

 

Wow. Not a good look. The media will be on Oates like stink on dog dirt. Heard his post game comment about the frisk deal but that won't matter.
