Bardstown returns Jeremy Gesser, a center who got Honorable-Mention All-State. He is 6'2" 250 lbs. He started all of last year and some of 2005 I believe. I also think Centre College is interested, don't write it in stone though.

The Bardstown vs. Danville game should be very FUN. From what I gather, the two programs like playing each, especially at Bardstown, we love having the chance to play an annual power such as Bardstown. I think the tiger seniors will remember the loss they took in Danville in '04.

What is the general feeling about playing bardstown down in Danville?

I agree with the WR position on the offensive side of the ball, the tigers will defnitely need someone to fill in for Graves as well as a couple more receivers who can catch the ball. On the defensive side, I don't believe the secondary will be a problem, but I do think some juniors and sophmores need to hit the weights to control the line of scrimmage for the d-line. Bardstown's schedule should prove to be tough but also battle-testing. '07 will be fun.

Any suggestions for a lineman (center specifically) thats is a senior-to-be?

Bardstown has flexed their muscles in class A for the past few years and return many starters from last year's 11-1 team. District 4 could be the toughest with Danville and Bardstown; that or district 2 with Ft. Campbell and OC.

Man, this should be an excellent game. I can't wait to see what Mayfield has coming back from last year. Danville should be prepared, they know Mayfield is for real. I still wish it were Bardstown in this game but it should be some great class A football.

I paid for about half of my state track ring which was $200, the track boosters picked up the rest of the bill, I'm not sure how much that was.

I know this is off topic but after seeing ads1982's avatar, I remember that playing at Danville is one of the most intimidating places to play. Bethlehem went there last year but it's still a rough place to play on the road.

So it's possible to have an all-district calibur player but if the team he plays on is not well-liked it doesn't matter? Also, is it possible for a junior to make all-district?

A Bardstown vs. Ocath matchup would be cool in semistate. I have a lot of family in owensboro. The Tigers are eager to step up into 2A.

How does a player become all-district or get "honorable mention?" Any info. would be appreciated.

Will Ocath remain in "AA" after the realignment in '07?

Aces will be battle tested next year. The question is whether they will be passing or failing the test.
