I guess we'll see...but in my mind Gray, Henderson and Simon had their chance last year and definately blew it carrying that team anywhere. One other name I will mention is OL/DL Evan Hester; he could be a stud.

Those 3 that you named for Danville could be good, but I wouldn't consider any of them SOLID. If we're talking studs that can make a big difference, I will go with those 2 sophomore linebackers, Lynn and Raines.

It is one of shock but no disrespect at all! If Pikeville lands Coach Perry, they are definately the winners What do you think Coach Harp would do if he leaves? Will he go after Stonebreaker from Garrard Co?

I haven't heard around Danville of any Admiral assistant coaches being considered except Perry..

For the Danville Admirals, look for Devin Lynn and Tevin Raines to tear it up if they work hard in the summer....both could be terrors at linebacker.

Perry would be the best candidate in my opinion, but what a huge blow that would be to the Admirals if he left.

A great player and and even better young man from what I understand; should make the Breds proud.

Lots of good ones mentioned on here for Danville, but are we forgetting Jeremy Britt? Maybe too I would add Kinte Bess or any of the Kinley boys....

I saw them play vs. Danville-they are very athletic and well-coached. Look for maybe an 8 win season...can't wait for them to have to travel to Admiral Stadium in 08; that is a looong drive!

I look for Mercer Co. to bounce back...Jaggers will have em rolling come October!

So, with the transfer of Leonard Macon to Taylor Co, who will step up next year and be the go to receiver? Can anyone take the place of a 6'5" target? Anyone roaming the halls that should give it a shot to be the next big play guy for the Admirals???????????

What about Danville? Any studs returning? Heard that they had some really strong kids in their weightlifting class.......

Time can become a factor now, as I am sure off-season conditioning programs are into effect and a lot of good coaches want to get their offensive/defensive philosophies down before spring practice starts. If they go with the current system that the Rebels have now, and hire outside of their current staff, won't there be a brand new system installed? That does cause some sort of setbacks, right?

Way too many "me's" from what I hear; they are gaining a reputation around here for being a very selfish group that is looking for the individual success, and not very team-oriented(willing to block for each other, focus on assignments, etc...). That spells big-time trouble for any hs program in my opinion. You can see it from the stands on Friday and hear it around town-individual accolades 1st, team goals a distant 2nd. Sad but true, and I hate it for the kids that are playing for the team and want to do whatever it takes to win.

Individuals do not win championships, teams do. That is Danville's biggest problem and why they are doomed to be bounced from the playoffs either this week or most definately next week if they make it. Too many "me's" and not enough "we's"........

I agree EasyPro; the Ads just aren't very good(but I hear that they think they are).... reality check for the boys in Blue-Tigers win and go on to Ft. Campbell; Admirals realize it just isn't meant to be.
