  1. Don't know how true it is, but I have heard many schools will not play Danville; most in the Central KY area. Again, not sure if this is true or not or how their schedule is worked out.
  2. Wonder what teams in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, etc...do about this? They must not practice at all..
  3. For Danville(in my own opinion): Receiver/DB Will Dunn(soph)-could be a special player; unlimited potential
  4. Hey, anyone got any updates on the Admirals or Rebels so far this summer?
  5. 1. Danville vs. Boyle Co in 2002; the streak ends.... 2. Danville vs. Newport Catholic, state finals 2001 3. Danville vs. Highlands 2003; what an atmosphere... 4. Danville vs. Bardstown, regional finals 2000 5. Danville vs. Louisville Holy Cross 2003
  6. Good kid, tremendous athlete, unlimited potential; I think we can all agree on these things-it is the question of his heart and willingness to be at the top of the football food chain that has most of us questioning him.
  7. Athletic Ability= A+ Work ethic= C- Not a very good combination if you want to be great in my opinion.
  8. No way he is better than Baughman. He is a good player, but I wouldn't put it in his hands when the game is on the line. I can think of other receivers the Admirals have had in the past that I would rather see with the ball late in the game with it on the line; Baughman is one, then probably Ronnie Hawkins and even the Morris kid that graduated a few years ago. That kid could play-give him Macon's height and he is tearing up Division I right now.
  9. Easy Blockbuster; I am sure Sam started him because he was their best football player and because he is one heck of a head coach and knows talent; don't think you will find many people denying that fact. Sam Harp has been around the game long enough and is a very fair coach-I don't think you will find 1 coach out there who wouldn't have started Macon; if you do, let me know.
  10. I tend to agree with you RebelK...I just don't think that he has what it takes to be a Division I player, no matter what school he attends.
  11. Does anyone have actual facts on this? I mean, right now it appears as pretty much hearsay..
  12. If that is the case, I expect to see him moved to either position, whichever one that they feel he needs to be at the most. If not, my guess is that he is the qb unless someone can take the job from him..
  13. With French taking over, the Rebels should be pretty good. I would suspect them to be average on offense with a very sound and hard-hitting defense. Look for Aumiller to lead the offense; that kid could be scary good.
  14. I think that the Admirals will be very fun to watch this year and will be a very good team; good enough to win their region and make it to semis/state? We'll see.....
  15. Someone told me that Danville will be there this year.
  16. Has Danville changed any assistant coaches this year? If so, what position does each coach have? Does Harp handle just the offensive side of the ball and Perry the defensive side?
  17. Danville will be fine; I say if their offense can generate 27 points a game, they might go 10-0 in the regular season. I think it will all depend on how the offensive line comes along and if they can find another runningback to complement the Simon kid-he seemed a bit injury prone to me last year. I do not think that they will miss Mr. Macon much at all, but that is one person's opinion..
  18. 2000 and 2001 Danville Admirals tied...
  19. AdsAthlete, I don't see any potential Division I signees for the Admirals next year at all...not sure where you are looking!
  20. Brown will be a good one....wish he could've gotten an asst. job with Danville, but I am sure being a head coach is a dream come true for him. Wish him nothing but the best in Morehead!
  21. Wonder why they didn't pursue any assistants from Boyle, Danville, Mercer, etc??
  22. Just throwing a name out there if Perry gets the job. Do you think he will move up anyone on the current staff or do the offense and the defense himself, assuming he does the offense now? And who do you think Perry would want to be with him, if he lands the job? Doesn't he have a brother that coaches over that way somewhere?
  23. The Titans will be fine; just let Jaggers and Co. work some more magic-if they aren't in the Regional Finals this year I will be shocked.
