Any news on these jobs yet. I would like to see Darren Yaden get the OC job.

Where is Yaden? Mercer Co?

I have heard Bobby Leffew's name alot. I would love to see that. Don't care what he coaches. He would bring championship experience (from college and high school) to the program.

For the other assistant, the name I am hearing the most of is another head coach they may want to work with Settles. No not Stonebraker.

Yaden was the offensive co. for LC years ago. He is currently not coaching.

Darren Yaden is the Principal at Highland Elementary School in Lincoln County. He played at Lincoln County from 1982-1985 and was an assistant coach from 1990-2001. He was Offensive Coordinator from 1996-2001.

He and Coach Settles have the same offensive philosophy (score more points than the opponent???) but I think the only negative for him is that his Principal duties will make it hard for him to devote a great deal of time. That may make Coach Settles go in a different direction.

By the way, he coached a killer Flag Football team this year!!!

When is Coach Settles going to let people know who is on his staff? Has he talked to his new team yet?

Mr. Network who played on that flag football team.

I know Coach Yaden well, he would do a great job. The big question is, who will be the "DC"??

I thought that Settles coached the defense.

I keep hearing the Bobby Leffew rumor. I hope that it is true. This would be a nice get for LC. A young coach with major D1 experience. He has been a big winner at every level.
