Schott could throw it, but he also had some very good receivers to get it to. And it helped having Penix, Turner, the Hopewell kid, and about 3 more backs too. They are VERY one dimensional now.
sounds like good things going on at Raceland. Lots of kids getting the opportunity for a college education and playing at the next level. Kudos to the coaches/administration for the Rams. And the teachers
Boyle will be very physical, fundamentally sound, and excel in ball control as well as the homerun ball (throwing deep 5-6 times a game). Different year, same Boyle team.
At one time, the staff was as good as anyone's in the state (with veterans and "new" guys that could coach their butts off). Time will tell if Clevenger can put together a top-knotch staff and not just have former players roaming the sidelines with him.
I totally agree. All who apply should be closely looked at, no matter where they are from or what different things that they bring to the table. Which schools out there are willing to take a risk on someone who might not have HC experience, but could quite possibly be the best person for the job?
