  1. I believe the Muskies will score, but very late, after Ashland pulls the starters.
  2. I'll go with Fairview, they actually had a good first half against Raceland. and they have played very good in the other games.
  3. I like Ivan McGlone and his Devils, but I think he is in over his head against both SK and Raceland. He should do all right with Mason County, Russell is still a good team.
  4. I'll take the Lions in this one. Last week was a scenario of how many things can go wrong. BC has yet to play a single game of defense since Lee Evans took over, but he made it known before the season started last year that there were issues involved there. But, the Lions offense can make some very timely moves, and I believe that will be the difference in this one.
  5. I once again will take LC, by how much will depend on the turn overs that have cost them so much this year.
  6. I too have to agree, LC is a very good team who seems to have all the breaks go against them. I watched them come to Boyd County and knock my Lions around all night long, the score was nothing like the game. At the end of the game the emotions were hard, and looked to be taking it's toll on the Dawgs. Then the very next week, in the tradition of true winners, the Dawgs went back on the road and played with all they had again. Most teams don't keep playing after 2 or 3 staight losses, But this LC team doesn't have it in them to quit. I see them going places in the very near future. I think God rewards faith, and this team seems to have plenty.
  7. I can't believe how week after week the Dawgs self destruct in the last 5 minutes of the game.
  8. Sounds alot like the Russell Boyd County game in week 2.
  9. Until coach Evans learns the importance of defense and establishes something that resembles it, they'll not beat a good team. Congrats to the Tomcats on total domination of the Lions.
  10. O.K. what 2 voted for RC, I want to know who I can't take serious on here. The Cardinals name the score.
  11. I'm going with the Dawgs again on this one. The only thing that saved my Lions was LC's coaches kept throwing for the end zone, pick after pick after pick, you get my point. I don't think they do that 2 weeks in a row. I'll say LC wins 27-21.
  12. I think Ashland wins due to Boyd County's complete lack of defense. I don't know what's going on at the County, but this is the second year of their worst defense in school history. I like some of the things on offense, but the Lions are no better as a team now than they were last season at this time.
  13. Raceland wins big, but I doubt that the Muskies roll over for them. The Rams will earn it.
  14. Congrats to the Lions. Don't go doubting LC over their winless record. The only thing that really hurt them was Boyd County kept intercepting in the end zone, but that will be between the coach and the QB. He can't keep throwing balls like that. The Dawgs moved the ball well, and made the Lions earn every yard.
  15. If BC has learned how to play "D", then they have a chance. I think the Bulldogs come in playing physical, hitting hard, and hungry for a win. I hope I'm wrong, but I think LC pulls it out 27-20.
  16. It kind of makes you wonder how good he would be at 100%. Congats to the Lions, Hopefully they got the bugs out of the system and will come out and play every week.
  17. I like the way this looks, I can't really call 6-8, too close to call. After that, I think no one team seperates themselves from the rest.
  18. Raceland has to be the heavy favorite, but an Eagles win wouldn't be a huge upset.
  19. I think the upset was the Bombers win over USA Today's #4 DBP.
  20. I knew the Bobcats would score fast and often, but I didn't think Boyd County's offense would be completely denied like that. Congrats to the Bobcats on the convincing win.
  21. I have to go with the Vikings on this one, Greenup will show me that they want to win. I know they lst to three tough teams, but none of them were even close.
  22. This may be true, but Boyd is in the same situation with Zac Wilson. I still say Boyd can easily change their situation by catching the ball.
  23. A die hard fan... one with delusions of grandeur. Wheelersburg-56 Greenup County-12
  24. Russell by 3 TD's. I think West Carter will score once or twice late in the game.
  25. If they start catching the football then they won't be. They have a good group of receivers, they just couldn't seem to catch the ball Friday.
