Unfortunately, once again, Lawrence Co. leaves me scratching my head. Congrats to the Lions and better luck to LC next week.

Congratulations to Boyd County. Lawrence County has taken some tough close losses this year to some good teams. If they continue to battle, that really says something about the character of their team. Next week it's at Russell.

That should be a good game. Having seen both Greenup and Boyd play, I would think Boyd has the advantage...but you never know as Greenup has the potential to improve as the season wears on. Do all the teams in their district make the playoffs anyway?

Yes all four (Greenup County, Rowan County, Lawrence County, and Boyd County) make the playoffs, but a district championship is nice to win, plus the home field for the playoffs is really what is at stake.

Yes it is, but when given lemons, make the lemonade. I don't know what we can do about it, it is what it is.

Yeah...looking at the bright side...I guess it does present the remote possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime Villanova-Georgetown, Douglas-Tyson upset! :-)
