This should be the game of the week.I like Bell in this one,but LC has had a tougher road to travel to get to this point.Good luck to both teams.

I know that there are those who would disagree,but I believe next weeks game against LC,for all intents and purposes,is the real championship game.Now,the other teams have their chance to prove me wrong,but I feel safe in this prediction.

Congrats to Russell on the hard fought win and good luck next week.This is going to be a real test for Ivan McGlone and his Red Devils.Breathitt Co. is the second best team I've seen this year,right behind Belfry.

I'd love to see that,but I'm not holding my breath.LCC had best bring the best game they've played to stay in this one,and I still have my doubts,but congrats and good luck.

I raised an eyebrow at that myself,I'd like to see it happen so I can say "I saw it predicted".

I'm not sure I can make a prediction on the score here,or the winner for that matter,but I do think the Rebels pull out the win in what may be the best game of the week.Wish I could be there for this one.

The last thing Breathitt wants is to go to Belfry,but IMO,that's the way it'll go. Belfry-42 SC-21

Both teams are playing alot better.I'll have to go with Boyd County on this one,but it'll be alot closer than the last time they played. BC-20 GC-13

Their boys deserve better,I'll stick with my case that you can't rebuild on a schedule that brutal,but nice win for BC.I can't wait for the GC game.

If they had something more that might work,they should've broke it out a few weeks ago before letting the boys get demoralized.

I can't agree more,but I think with that brutal schedule LC has learned little while BC has had the chance to learn alot by playing within their teams limits.The only team that BC played that they were completely out of their range was Breathitt and they kept it close till the 4th, losing 34-13.

This is how football sometimes goes.You don't always get the schedule you want,even if you're the one trying to fill it.You have scheduleing conflicts,distance,money from the gate,and when you have a team like HHS,some won't play you.These are the problems my step brothers run into in West Virginia,I would have to say it's the same in KY.

BC has started to play a little run defense and been winning,not stellar defense but some.When they played LC,they were still letting anyone who wanted to run the ball do so.This may be a big difference in the outcome of the season game and the playoff game.

They'll need Tyler Jones healthy after the first round,may need him in first if East comes ready to upset.

I hope next year they play a schedule that alows them to get the new offense down,can't do that against the likes of Belfry and Breathitt.

I wish for a system where the weak teams stay home and the teams who earned a postseason berth get it.In such a system my Lions would not get in,but then they may do what they need to do to get back the tradition they once had.Football would mean something other than "Let's see how much money we can bring in".

True,I just wish that Russell had a couple more #8's,I think any of the Red Devil fans can agree with that.The boy can play.

I agree,there are a few exceptions like Raceland and Fairview,but even then those are both 6-4 teams.

I look for some in the weaker districts,but then those would be minor upsets.
