  1. Nathen Dillon #10 RB Johnson Central Josh Lackey #? OL Johnson Central TJ Chin #21 RB Rowan Co. Rees MacShara RB Boyle Collinsworth WR Highlands These Juniors are all huge playmakers on their team
  2. This information is good the only thing I don't agree with is is height. Collinsworth doesn't appear to be near 6 foot tall. I could be wrong though.
  3. Rowan Co. had better come out ready to play! The Vikings are not good enough to overlook anyone they play! East Carter will be a test for the young Vikings but in the end I think Rowan will pull away with a W.
  4. Boyle will roll in this game. The Rebels are solid all around and shouldn't have much trouble. How about Jaggers refusing to trade film with Boyle Co. Coach Larry French? Seems kind of odd to me that a Coach like Jaggers wouldn't trade film with Coach French. What's the deal with that?
  5. Raceland is playing like a team on a mission this season. I have been very impressed with the Rams so far. As for Paintsville, things haven't changed! Their skill positions are darn good, maybe as good as anyone's but their line play is not so good. Against good teams their line don't give their skill kids a chance. For the Tigers to win they will have to limit the Rams oppertunities to score. If Paintsville can keep it close they may have a chance in the end but if not the Rams will roll in this one. Raceland 42 Paintsville 6
  6. Paintsville has one more game to win before Rupp! Should be a dogfight tomorrow.
  7. Good Hire for Rowan Co. Coach Brown is a good coach and should be able to get them moving in the right direction.
  8. Whoever the coach is they had better be ready to win right away! If the majority of people in Harlan have the same expectations that the people on this message board do. If it were me I would have high expectations as well. The talent should be there for someone to come along and make some noise in east KY.
  9. The KHSAA is a flat out joke! There is no justice and they (the KHSAA) do whatever they want to do! They punish what schools they want and they punish what kids they want! The KHSAA's punishment of LCA is stupid! Why fine them at all? If anyone thinks for one minute that the admin. and coaching staffs at LCA are losing one wink a sleep over the issue than they have lost it! If the truth be known, they are laughing theirselves to sleep knowing that they have recieved what is essentially a get out of jail free card. I will say this though! I do not believe that any KID should be punished for things they have no control over. Most of these kids have four yrs. to play sports and that is it! Those four yrs. may be the highlight of their lives! However, I do believe that harsh punishment should be imposed on those schools who break the rules! LCA clearly violated bylaw 10 and they admitted it! The harsh reality is that LCA, the school system and athletic program, was handed over a gift from the KHSAA. Some say SHAME on LCA! Not me, I say shame on the KHSAA for allowing such activites to go on. THE KHSAA IS A JOKE!!!!! SHAME ON THEM!!!!!
  10. That is the most honest thing anyone could say about the Paintsville football program at this time. The next coach at Paintsville will have to focus on who to schedule and most importantly district games. Paintsville will continue to struggle with it's program untill they develop some of their own players. Their COUNTY WELL has run dry! The Tigers have recieved few if ANY gifts from the County in the last few years and I believe that will continue. Don't get me wrong, I think the program can be productive in the years to come but it is going to take some major work!
  11. Welch isn't hurt! Trust me on that. He is ready to go.
  12. I believe that JC did want a piece of Woodford but in the playoffs you had better want a piece of whoever you play or it's over! JC wants whoever is in their way! Woodford would have been nice but Montgomery is now the focus!
  13. This is a wonderful post on what Coach Matney and his staff have done to make this program what it is today. With all the athletes at JC it was just a matter of time before they took off. All it took was finding the right coach, the right staff, and the right support to build a program at JC. It has been said for many years that JC was a sleeping GIANT! Coach Matney and his staff have this program on the right track. They have taken this program miles from what it was, but believe me, JC has miles to go to get where they want to go. It will happen, that I can assure you. Let's go get those Pirates boys!:ylsuper:
  14. Read my last post and you will see that I have admitted that it might not be a good thing. We do not need to use examples of behavior that is against the law. I do it sometimes too but it isn't good.
  15. You know, may be I am wrong. I just get upset when people who think they are hurting the school are actually hurting a kid or kids much more. I just don't like to see any kid hurt. I have thought long and hard about this and I can see where it probably wouldn't be a good thing for the KHSAA to name the accuers of schools. I do like the idea of a few posters though. That if found innocent of those charges those schools who have accuessed should be punished. Also, even if the KHSAA doesn't let it be known who the accuers are, if you lay low they will tell on themselves. That goes with anything in life I suppose. Have a great day everybody.
  16. Coach Hart is a wonderfull coach! Ashland had better hold on to him as long as they can. Coach Hart will take this team where they need to go. Just give the guy a break! He lost 24 seniors last season. That is tough to replace at a public school. I am sure that he will be just fine.
  17. Listen, all I am saying is this! In a court of law, criminals, the most nasty criminals on earth have the right to look eye to eye at those who have accused them! It don't matter whether they were innocent or gulity they still have the right to look at them. The KHSAA is no different! If a memeber school accueses another member school of a rule violation, than the member school who is accused should have the right to look at those schools who have accussed them.
  18. Oh trust me it matters! If you had someone at your work accuse you of taking something and this cost you your job, are you saying that it wouldn't be your right to know who accused you?
  19. No, retaliation has nothing to do with it. The main point is that the accused deserve the right to know who has accused them. I think it is the responsibility of the KHSAA to make sure those rights are met. The KHSAA let's the accuser hide behind them and thus no one gets to question their actions or motives! It is wrong that JC is unable to look their accuser in the eye.
  20. Well I have had about enough speculation into what is going on. I am going to give my opinon of the whole situation as best I can because I need to get this off my chest. Ok, JC is accused of using as ineligible player. We are all aware of that! Now, if JC is found to be at fault, (which I can't see that) than they deserve whatever punishment they recieve. Now, I have a thought for you posters. It is obvious that someone outside of JC has made the KHSAA aware of the situation. They have accused JC of violating these rules, thus looking for sanction against JC. The KHSAA has informed JC of these alligations and given them a timeline to respond. Well this is what I think! In a court of law the most hardened criminals have had the right to meet the people who have accused them of their crimes. The accused have the right to look their accusers in the eye. I for one believe that the KHSAA should have to provide documentation to the accussed of not only the violations but also who is accusing them of those violations. I believe it is Johnson Central's right to know who has accused them of these violations! It is sad to me that other schools can hide behind the KHSAA when they accuse other schools of breaking rules. It is also sad the school or schools accusing JC does not have the character to make it known that they have accuesed them.
  21. This game should be a dandy! Maybe the game of the year in east ky.
  22. JCHS REAL BIG!!! Who can honestly believe this? This game is going to be a battle! JC v. Ashland has become a bigger rival that JC v. Paintsville! If JC doesn't come ready to play they will be in TROUBLE! The Eagles need to prepare like a playoff game and get ready because I honestly believe that Ashland will play harder than they have all season to get back at JC for those two loses last season. C'mon EAGLES, let's get ready and send those Cats back to Ashland with another L
  23. Ashland needs a win in the worst way! IMO this is a make or break game for the Tomcats! If they lose this game, I don't see them making the playoffs!
  24. I am not saying he is a bad egg! I was just asking what is up with the kid! I hope he is a good kid because he looks like a wonderfull player
  25. How good is this kid really? I mean from what I hear, (Family in Woodford Co.) is that this kid didn't have to go to camp and that he can come and go from practice whenever he wants. What's up with that? Is he that good that he doesn't even have to dedicate himself to the team? Seems rather odd to me.
