Who are the top (current) juniors in the state? Please include position and other particulars.

Fort Campbell quarterback Antonio Andrews comes to mind quickly.

Rees MacShara, RB, Boyle County(see my avatar).

He has rushed for @ 1712 yards and 31 total tds(28 rushing, 2 receiving, 1 return) through last Friday. He should be in the mix for Mr. Football next year. I am unsure of his college prospects, but he is one of the most gifted athletes to come through Boyle County and I look forward to watching his senior season in football.

Conner QB Nick West.

Boone County RB Charles Quainoo.

Simon Kenton RB Miles Simpson.

Highlands DB/WR Austin Collinsworth.

Quan Weaver RB Frankfort High

Jacob Russell QB Anderson County

Do it all guy, JD Gray-Crittenden Co.

Punts, QB, RB, returns kicks, DB

Austin Collinsworth: db/wr/kr/pr (HHS)

Brandon Roller: lb/te (HHS)

Highlands:

Tyler Combs - OL

Hunter Schlosser - OL

Tyler Grubbs - OL

Kyle Welz - TE/DL

Tyler Fennell - RB/DL

Will Bardo - DB/QB

Nick Buten - DB/WR

Koenenger - Campbell County

Those are three of the top players in the Mountains that first come to mind. There are many others around here that I have left out im sure.

Antonio should be on everyone’s watch list next year, certainly has the potential to be even better than this year. :thumb:

Frankforts Quan Weaver.

Nathan Kidd: DE 6-4 220 Southwestern

Harris Bivin - Apollo - DT - 6'3" 290 lbs.

I don't know about being a current "best in state", but if Tyrone Persons works in the weight room and conditions properly in the winter, he could be. We moved him from TE to TB because of all our injuries and the kid broke 1000 yards in just 7 games.

Just waiting for his senior campaign, now.

I'd say in nky the top two prospects offensively will be Austin Collinsworth (DB/WR) of Highlands and Miles Simpson (RB/DB) of SK.

Brandon Roller (lb/te) of Highlands is another one who will likely be a D1 prospect.
