Final

I was listening to this one on the net but it got to the point where I knew J.C. had it in the bag so I turned it off.

Congrats on the win now keep it going.

What a difference a week makes!

The vaunted Eagle ground game was held to a COMBINED TOTAL of 25 yards last week.

This week, Grimm goes for over 200 yards, and both Dillon and Richardson go over 100 yards rushing.

Montgomery County upset Woodford County, thus the Eagles now will host the next playoff game.

I was there and the game was over early.... Everyone at the Stadium went crazy whn they announced the woodford/mont co game.. Going to be a tough game for the eagles, with Mont Co. peaking at the right time.

This comment is for the Johnson Central fans.... WHERE WAS EVERYBODY TONIGHT?????????

That was the smallest crowd we have had in the Matney era. We need to get behind our team, we have a great shot at making another deep play-off run!

Now for the game...

Johnson Central looked like a team that wants to win a state title! They ran the football well, they played alot better defense and didnt make the costly mistakes like we did against Belfry.

Bryan Station looked to be much improved from the first meeting between these 2 schools. They had IMO the play of the night...When one of their recievers hurdled a JC defender. I couldnt believe he got up that high.

Congrats to JCHS on a big win, keep it rolling guys. :thumb:

I would like to say that next season at the nest isn't going to be the same, Johnson Central's long time Public Address announcer will be leaving us for the sunshine state of Florida. For 12 years, Dr. Jarret Greer has been the PA man for Johnson Central football. He was honored tonight before the game. Dr. Greer is a 1995 graduate of JC and was inducted into the JCHS Hall of Fame last year. It's gonna be hard to find somebody with his intensity. Nobody on the earth says "TOUCHDOWN GOLDEN EAGLES" like Dr. Greer.

Something tells me that he might make some cameo's in the future. :thumb:

Ryle's fans did the same during our game when they announced the Boone/Campbell 2nd quarter score. I know you always want the path of least resistance, but you can't tell me JC didn't want a piece of Woodford.

Your right about that Armour, there was noone there. I didn't get to see you tonight but maybe we can meet up next week...

As for wanting a part of Woodford, I didn't I was actually afraid of them with the way they BEAT us earlier this year... Kind of glad there gone!!!!!!!:argue:

I wasnt in my typical bright yellow pull-over...

I broke out the underarmour coldgear derecho fleece jacket.

8-3

Johnson Central beat Montgomery County @ Montgomery County 28-7 in week 9.

I believe that JC did want a piece of Woodford but in the playoffs you had better want a piece of whoever you play or it's over! JC wants whoever is in their way! Woodford would have been nice but Montgomery is now the focus!
