If Woodford had won I would have been their cheering on JC. NE ways keep it going JC beat Montgomery next week. Take it one week at a time.

I would like to say that next season at the nest isn't going to be the same, Johnson Central's long time Public Address announcer will be leaving us for the sunshine state of Florida. For 12 years, Dr. Jarret Greer has been the PA man for Johnson Central football. He was honored tonight before the game. Dr. Greer is a 1995 graduate of JC and was inducted into the JCHS Hall of Fame last year. It's gonna be hard to find somebody with his intensity. Nobody on the earth says "TOUCHDOWN GOLDEN EAGLES" like Dr. Greer.

 

 

 

 

 

Something tells me that he might make some cameo's in the future. :thumb:

 

There's a distinct possibility of a couple of fall weekends in 2008, I'm sure.

I had went to the game and I was very disappointed in the crowd tonight. I dont understand why no one was there and a coiple boys from Ashland could drive a hour away to watch the game.

JC seemed to come out very well the first half but kind of shut it down the 2nd half and almost let BS back into the game.

But for the main reason for us going to JC tonight, it was the hamburgers that they sell there. I will be returning next week for these same burgers and maybe watch alittle of the game.

I as well dont understand the bad turn out for such a big playoff game and the only playoff game JC was guaranteed at home until Montgomery Co. upset Woodford.

Alot of people do. The Eagle Grill was a great addition to Friday Night Football.

They'll come around...Football weather takes a little more preparation and a little more enticing.

 

But once they become used to it, the atmosphere at a football game is contagious. Also, the cheerleading squad, boosters, and the admininstration have to be on the wagon as well or community support is just average.

 

JC is on the right track though...give it time & keep putting out quality football teams. That's all you can do.
