As being reported by Herald Leader this afternoon. What are these folks at LCA thinking?

The punishment isn't surprising since the KHSAA is right around the corner. Anyone know how many kids go to LCA that have parents or siblings that work at the KHSAA? Had Owensboro Catholic or University Heights done this, would the punishment had been the same? I thought 'lack of institutional control' usually was contained in the same paragraph as forfeits and postseason ineligibility. Fining a private school. That's rich. pun intended.

Agree with you Fletch. Don't know if true or not but understood that Brigidit Devrees is a graduate of Lex Cath. Does anyone know if that's correct?

The entire athletic program should be placed on a one year post season ban.

13K fine, yet they get to keep their titles?

Yet just another eye-opener as to why public schools get so irritated. When given the chance....well...I might as well not go there.

Kinda reported it yesterday on the football thread but I didn't have any solid proof besides one source in the know who had already been informed that LCA would be recieving punishment soon.

Wow, sounds like some of those kids got to go to LCA for the same price they could have gone to Tates Creek or Bryan Station:sleep:

It is close, Lex Cath was about $5,000 a year and LCA was definately more then that.
