If you came the the Trinity cloning facility and cloned Jimmy M and a few others a couple times I would agree with you. Henry Clay was the third best team in 4A. Rocks #1 Male #2 St. X #4 Ryle #5. JMO

Super Shamrocks, Try Tony Tricase(SP) at DG AllState 1St team. While Vince was great Andy Murray was twice the fullback. Jim Cambell made it to the pro level at TE so I would have to list him also. If you are going to list Hennessy I am not sure you listed the right one "dad was the Man". these are just some off the top of my head.

I honestly believe that a school will come along much like Nelson did out in the state and have a similar run. It is all about community and continuity in the staff. It will happen again soon as some programs are making strides in that direction. Most people last year thought it would be John Hardin might still be. Point is it takes time so I do not agree son of Bear that no one in the current 4A new 6A can over come the Big 3.

Supershamrocks, You give this offense we run today to that 83 title team with all those great players that went onto play college and Pro-ball and I would say that hands down they were the best. But since we cannot do that 02 holds the title. Trinity forever.

Rockpride, I would have to say that Boone not only had the chances and many bthey were but if the coaches every thought about teaching the QB to throw the ball just a little Boone would have won one or two titles. No one will ever convince me of the fact that Boone with all those great teams 88-94 did not have really good and some great players. Great Game Rocks way to bring home number 17. Great run for Ryle, now use it to fuel the fire to get back to the state game.

Everyone will get to see the X example next year as they return most of the team and the Duece will be the man. For T the same can be said with Stein at QB as most of the O return minus some great Line players(Center and Guard). Minnifield for HC without question he was everything for them this season. As for Beaumont Male would have had a very good team without him but with what he brings to the table without quetion not the same team IMO.
