It means your good, however my thought is this, With all the bashing about politics with all-state and yes there is some politics......could you imagine the politcs that goes in to all-american, I mean there are thousands and thousands of H.S players.

Yeah I heard of this one as well. It's a good thing. However I still think the "senior day" may be the best due to the fact you are traveling were the coaches are, not the coaches traveling to you. If you were the coach which one would you prefer.

I believe you can look at scout.com and they will have information?????? However Colleges (ALL COLLEGES) will have a day called a "senior day" these are for H.S seniors to be and are in the summer. It is a good way of getting the attention of the coaches. Look on the college web sites for that. Any player can attend for a small price.

Special Teams are HUGE in H.S. Without field position it puts your team in a tough spot. Your offense can't score consistently when starting a drive on the 20 or worse on offense. And if you can't get a good punt your defense suffers aswell. Look at Trinity,Bowling Green and Cov Cath. All three of them had great special team play, kickers,coverage ect.. All three made it to the finals. A huge asset for H.S fball

ryle is #2 in the state

Congrats to Ryle for making it to the title game, not many people can say they did that. You guys are a very young program and are on the right track. For a second there at the beginning of the game when T went 3 and out on the first drive of the game (I don't think that ever happened to T once this season) I was thinking oh no may be the rain really will help Ryle. However over the game T proved to be a little bit to tough for Ryle. Trinity O looked great. The O-line blocked great and gave Petrino time to run or make throws, the 3rd down blocking were great. Petrino really did take some shots all night, give ryle credit were it is due. Running game nick did great and Tim make the defense respect the running game to open up the passing game. Wide out's great route running, the key in the game I thought. Even the Tight End Miller had a great catch for a key first down, and he blocked great. Trinity D. #8 had a monster hit to #2. The entire D stopped the running game and did not let the QB run or give him options to pass down the field because the receivers were covered. The D-line did not let any holes open up the entire game for their running back. That says a lot because Ryle's running game was what got them to the game. T special teams. The twins did a great job of fair catching the punts in that rain. Field position was great for Trinity all night long, great coverage for Trinity. Tydlacka had 2 key FG's early in the game a 20 something and a 40 yarder. When T went 3 and out to start the game he really switched the field with his punt. And miller the long snapper did a great job of getting the wet ball there.

Correct, no one can sign until the national day of intent which as you stated is in Feb.

A little snow will affect nobody do the point of who wins the games, however if it would blizzard, then the passing teams will be more affected. And the games will be played on sport turf. Meaning no mud.

You really can't compare this football game to a soccer game, two different sports and traditions Apples and Oranges if you follow me

Yeah, if timed correctly the NFL guys can hardly run that fast. I'm sure he's got some wheels but I promise if one would run at at the NFL combine his time would not be that fast. I'm sure he's fast though:walk:

as some stated before, the only way Ryle will win is if they jump out fast and score. And then run, run and run some more to keep T's O off the field. BUt I think Trinity will win T-38 R-14

I think this will be the closest Title game this year I think the teams are more or less equal. Field Position will be important but both teams have good kickers so????? I'll fip the coin and go with BG

My Trinity breakdown (I have not seen Ryle play yet) Strength’s: Offense: Petrino has been playing great this year especially the last 2 games. Accurate and can throw the long ball, and can run very effectively. Has some D-1AA offers. The O-line has been good this year on protecting the QB. They create openings enough for the running back. T has 3 or 4 all district linemen in Hall, Sploker, Roby an All–State linemen last year. Not that many people are going to run Tim the running back down if he breaks in the open field. Very Very quick, has great vision, and creates cut back lines, very smart ballplayer (he's a sophomore). Wide out's very good route runners and I think all are equally good at catching the ball. All are great run blockers. Defense: Are balanced in the running game and passing game. When they need to make a big play they step up and make it. Get good enough pressure to the QB to sack him quickly or to make him throw a bad ball. T has been playing consistent D all year. Little petrino I think will be better than his older brother when it is all done, can hit hard for being a little guy,and very good at open field tackles, #9 I believe Aijay can run fast and tackle very well. Special Teams: Very solid kicker/punter he does all three. Deep high kickoffs and a very very good punter. All-State last year, committed to uk Weaknesses: Very hard to find them but I will try, these weaknesses do not happen a lot. Offense: Oline is good but I feel they could get beat every once and a while from the out side. Running back is outstanding and very strong for his size but for his size, can get stopped at the line of scrimmage. Defense: Like I said the strength is attacking the QB and making the sack, and pressuring him to make a bad decision, but it seems to me if they do not get him the first time they do not get him at all, and then the QB runs around and makes a play down field. I think a team can get some passing yards on the secondary not consistently but can have a big play and gain a lot of yards every once in a while. Special teams: If you asked me this last week I would say there are none. However HC made T look silly on covering the kicks. T kicker will put 9 of 10 in the end zone but when he does not, Trinity gave up the sideline time and again last game
