VoR
This kid has a boot. Anyone know if he has committed anywhere? He is a D-1 kicker no doubt.
gpopham
He has not received any offers as of yet. Only schools that are showing real interest are Holy Cross, Harvard, Centre, Dayton, & Union.. Fla has asked for game film weeks ago, but have heard nothing. Thanks for asking. Birdsfan
Only schools that are showing real interest are Holy Cross, Harvard, Centre, Dayton, & Union. That's a shame; because he'd be a huge asset to any D1 team.

Time to make the highlight tapes in mass and get them out. Is CovCath doing anything to promote him?
Dark Horse
That is crazy that this kid doesnt have any offers. He has a leg and a half. Some of these D-1 schools need to get in on him. They would be getting a very strong accurate kicker. He tried a very long FG at JC last night and was right on line just got under it a bit and came up short. Good luck to this young man hope you get offer and continue playing to futhere youe education.

Having watched Florida and Boston College, two big time programs, recently afraid to even attempt 40 yard field goals in perfect conditions, due to such weak kickers; they need to do themselves a favor and contact Pop ASAP!! BGGreen
Just watched Florida miss another 38 yarder, and that makes their kicker 3 for11 on the year, with a long of 29 yards. Shane needs to stop by Gainesville??

Shane needs to stop by Gainesville?? Yea and in that dry, and warm weather, that 56 yard try would have been good. Just can't believe that a kid with his leg, and grades (ACT 29 3.86 GPA) isn't good enough for Florida who has year after year had some horrible FG kickers.... Another miss this time from around 40.... What a joke.....
gpopham
Time to make the highlight tapes in mass and get them out. Is CovCath doing anything to promote him? Cov Cath is doing a good job of helping. They have sent out a number of tapes with very positive feedback, but again no one has steppped up to the plate. It is a little disheartening, but the good news is that several 1AA schools want him to play immediatley. We will continue to send out new tape and have set up a web site at http://www.shanepopham.com a friend set it up and did a good job.

It is a shame he has no major offers.
KY Thorobred
He is TOO GOOD to go to Alabama, even though I know this Tide fan would sure as heck love to have him!!! I wish him nothing but the best in the title game, and at the next level!

Maybe UK should be calling as well. Kicking game hurt again today against UT.
