What is the update on his recruiting? This kid should be kicking D-1. Please keep us up to date. Also, forward that website to local college athletic department websites.

By the way, for the umpteenth time, I love that site Gpop. That 57 yarder, and I was there live, didn't exactly scrape the crossbar.

The kid catches it while moving backwards...  62 yards...EASY!!!

Recruitment Update: No offers to date. Talked to Harvard on Saturday, Notre Dame on Sunday( just chit chat), Wake Forest today(they were not going to recruit a kicker this year, but saw his web site and may reconsider, and Holy Cross tonight. That is all that I know, Shane has called Fla. several times in the past 2 weeks but they have not called back.

How cool is that? Yeah, I talked to Notre Dame...nah, it was just chit chat. That is awesome. :thumb: :thumb:

I know I speak for many when I say we hope that some big-time D-1 school comes to their senses and gives this young man the chance to help their program.

We thank everyone for their support and any help you can give.

Not that a verbal committment means anything but FLA has one from the

10th ranked kicker in the country, Chas Henry, Dallas, GA, 6'3", 180lbs. Maybe that is why they haven't responed yet. This verbal was in JULY. UGA is still talking to this young man.

Seen him in person at Johnson Central. The kid can flat out boot the football. Best of luck at the next level.

A July verbal and yet the Florida staff talked to CCH folks around the first HHS game? Interesting.

FLA needs all the help they can get at this position.

Maybe it was a soft verbal??

Hey what year is ND kicker?? How did he do this year?

Believe he is a junior and his long is 40 yards

Believe he is a junior and his long is 40 yards

what was his % I'm sure ND does not have that many opportunities to kick it long with that O

If he is a jr, that's good news.

Best of luck to Shane, where ever he ends up. Great job this season.
