No room on All-State team for a kid that finishes regular season as #4 rusher in state with over 2,000 yds as a sophomore. Two RB's from Southwestern listed as honorable mention with just over 1,000 yds each, yet North Bullitt RB Dalton Cissell left off completely - Give me a break!

Don't worry about the AP voters and thier selections. Most of these guys see very few football games and really don't know who the players are. They go by word of mouth. It's not thier fault either. They must report on thier area of responsibility.

 

Now when the BGP all state team is announced that is the real deal.

I remember when I first signed on at BGP. J-O-K-E was subject to the word filter. I finally see why. It can be a pretty nasty word if used with a certain flair.

Congratulations to local talents Wenquel Graves at DB and Billy Jackson at RB on the Honorable Mention team. They also were both great offensive players as well.

 

There are a lot of great high school players in this state and only a handful of spots. These guys don't all play head-to-head, so its very difficult to say one is better than the other. This is one of those things I think we congratulate the guys who make it on and look for other ways to promote the ones who didn't.

The Bacon kid from Ft.Knox is a sophomore who made 3rd team from a team that went 0-11??????

No, Shane Israel is ridiculous. He's one of the best rb's in the state, even as a junior. Also no Tyler Hancock, which is not that surprising, but it still should of been him.

RB is always very heavy....I follow KY HS Football very much, and am not very familiar with Israel. I would say it would be a tough sell to say he should get in over who is on the list.
