When Jefforson comes back that provides another leader to go along with Hill. Tonight Hill showed that he is the one who is carrying this team on his back right now. This is a very scary team IF they get things together. I am going to call it right now though, HOLMES WILL WIN THE 9TH REGION.

Holmes is the most talented team in the 9th. Almost everyone can agree with that, but the one thing they dont have is team chemistry. The few Holmes games that i have seen, they play too much one on one basketball. Hill is a great player but he sometimes takes 25-30 shots a game. Now back to the game, Cov Cath is the better team right now and they will win. CCH-47 HHS-39

Beechwood is going to rely on the JV team to step up and take the role as varsity players. They will have to have other pitchers step up to go along with Elliott and Bankamper. Hadden- JV ace last year, pitched some varsity, tigers are really looking for him to step up. Hall- pitched very well last year on JV and got the Win in the jv championship, should be in the starting rotation this year. They will also need other pitchers like gohs, blair and possible sophomore nate snyder to win a few games.

In my opinion i think Holmes finally gets it together this game when it really matters (district game) and wins by 15-20. Holmes is a very dangerous team when they are on. Holmes- 72 Holy Cross- 55

Elliott has a great arm and Beechwood needs to utilize it more so teams dont put 8 in the box every play. The only ? is who is he going to throw too? They lose there number 1 wide reciever (kayaitos) and also another good one in Finan.

I would watch out for Beechwood this year, they are my sleeper team pick. They lost 8 starters but have a very talented junior class that won the freshman tournament as freshman and JV tournament as sophomores. They dont have the big game experience yet but at the end of the season they could be a dangerous team.

Its a little early to call but with 3 of the top 5 9th region teams in the 35th, what 2 teams go to regionals? Right now Holmes is struggling, Holy cross just beat a very good Boone Co. team and Covington Catholic has been good this season with wins over very solid opponents.

Cov Cath isnt in a hurry to score points either, they will run there offense and pass the ball until they get an easy shot. Covington Catholic- 41 Highlands- 32 also 40+ fouls in this game lol

I think St. Henry has a chance to win this game if they can keep the game at a slower pace. Holmes is well conditioned and if they get into the full court game that could be trouble for St. Henry. Holmes- 71 St. Henry-58

I dont know how good Newport is but i saw Pendelton County play Holmes, and it wasnt much of a game, i am going to pick Newport in this one 53-49

Conner has a very solid program, 2 of there loses have been to top 5 teams in nky. They only lost by 11 to Cov Cath and 5 (i think) to simon kenton. I dont know much about Boone but they spanked ryle 81-44 earlier this season. Maybe Ryle didnt have there football players back yet or boone is good or ryle is not so good, but i see Conner winning this game 59-51

What happened to putting in the JV kids and running 4 corners? I dont know what the halftime score was but i dont see a reason to score 125 against a school with a struggling program. The only good thing for Shelby Valley in this game is that the kids get to improve there stats, but thats a side note.

Beechwood played well the first half and shot very good, but Silver Grove and Pelle was too much in the 2nd half. I believe Silver Grove shot around 70% the 2nd half!!!

Holmes has plenty of talent even with out Duran playing. I still think Holmes is the best team in the 9th. That said Cov Cath is right there with them. Both teams should beat most teams in the 9th pretty easily, but I still think Holmes is the best team in the 9th.

qryche11 are you kidding me??? When is the last time Beechwood has lost to Dayton in Varsity football? It wont happen this year. Beechwood wins 49-7.

Campbell county has a good chance to knock off Boone co.

It's been raining in northern kentucky pretty much all day. There will be some muddy games out there tonight, fortunantly the Highlands and Cov Cath game will be played on turf.

My last message should say final 21-14.

It looks like tomorrow game will be a cold and rainy game. With Beechwood's field the weather conditions won't matter. I do think both teams will run the ball alot and this one wont be a high scoring game. My prediction is Holy Cross comes out of the gates and suprises the tigers and leads at halftime 14-7. Just like the NCC game I think the tigers will come back in the second half and shut down Holy Cross to win 31-14.

I think Holy Cross hangs around the first half and then Beechwood pulls away after half. My prediction is Beechwood 35, Holy cross 14

I think Campbell County will win this one. In my opinion they are the best 4A team in NKY right now. They are coming off a big win over Boone County and I think they will win this one 24-10
