Yes, Jefferson is still out. I will agree that this game could be close, but Holmes will make their run and SK will not be able to stay up with them.

Holmes by 15, I just think SK can't handle this team, or what is ever left. Holmes has a very talented player out. Jefferson is the glue of this team, he holds everything together.

Even with Duran out, the backup, Avery?, really isn't all that big of a let down in terms of talent in my mind. I have a feeling that Holmes will win this one by 20+. I see the big 3 of Henderson, Rice, and Hill to all have big games. Hester, Elbert, and Hurd will try but won't be able to keep up.

I for one am a huge Mike Hester fan. I think not having to play against Duran will make Mike a factor in this game. The whole Tar Heel think and the talking drove Mike's passion to exceed over the edge!! This game is at the "Joe" right??

 

I really think this is a type of game SK needs to win to define this season. I think if SK wins this will determine what type of team they will be sending to the 5th 3rd tournament, and what will propel them to win the 8th region and go to Rupp this year.

 

I hope someone will provide me with updates on this game as I am now living in Florida.
