GT doesnt have a good half court offense, they cant play stall ball. At this point i think you take the best shot you have and forget about the clock, if you think you can score in 5 seconds on a jumper, go for it. GT has ran with them all game, they are doing fine, might as well continue.

Washington State, because they havent played anybody good other than UCLA. And they lost that game.

Ryan Reid? Yes i saw that, i dont think Paulus was holding his face from that, i think it was from the previous contact during the play. If your going to throw a punch atleast get your moneys worth, that was a horrible punch.

The refs need to let them play more, I hate BIG 10 style basketball where if u have your hand on a players back its a foul, when they dont even have the ball! I like to see games with a lot of scoring, and alot of full court game. As far as changes i would like to see the NBA no charge circle be brought into the game, i dont believe you should be able to take a charge if the shooter is 2 feet away from the basket.

I like the original way, easy to navigate. When it switched over to the gray one i didnt see a "home" link, just a link that gave u a list of all the forums. Im sure you are working hard on it and i know it probably isnt easy at all. Keep up the good work.

Duke winning, good??? I was hoping for the upset in this one, the Noles have a decent team but just couldnt get the baskets to drop when they needed them. The score of 70-57 makes it seem like Duke had a commanding lead but really it was a 1 point game with about 3 minutes left and then fouls came when duke got up 5. Duke blew a (i think) 18 point lead that they had in the 1st half. Ugly game and i saw the most charges called in a game ever! Had to be over 10 charges called.

Not saying i dont think they are the best team in the 9th, but Holmes hasnt played everyone in the 9th yet. So Boone and Highlands both have their chances to prove they are better than Holmes when they play in the upcoming month.

I must applaude the UK fans for all of the excuses they can come up with for their losses:cry:

Usually ESPN talks about the good teams and the good players on that team, which means this year UK and Patterson arent going to get talked about alot.

He is not so much a pitcher but rather a position player. A buddy of mine said he played for his sons summer team and played a good Right Field and is a decent hitter. He seemed to think that the kid wouldnt be a varsity stud or be a part of the regular pitching rotation but could see some playing time depending on who is pitching at the time. Beechwood already has 4 solid pitchers in Elliott, Hadden, Smith, and Snyder. I dont see the transfer getting involved that much in the pitching rotation but he could be used as a reliever.

If i am Cov Cath i dont run with the Bulldogs, play your game which is to run a half court offense. Cov Cath would love to see this game in the 40's, Holmes is eager to get out and run and play in the 70's and 80's. If Cov Cath allows Holmes to score more than 60 or 65 points i dont see Cov Cath having a chance at winning. Should be a good game, i just hope getting there by 7 will get me a decent seat.

They better be able to dress 40 on each team because there would be somewhere around 100 fouls between the two. lol As much as i would love to see the two champs play, after the "extra activities" following the CCH/HHS varsity game i dont think the schools would agree to that.

2 foot drivers so when you are following them, there brake lights are constantly on and they are accelerating! Another one is cars who slow to 10mph and then decide to get in the turn lane in the middle instead of getting in the turn lane and then slowing down.

Huge game in the 9th region on Tuesday! After Cov Cath's recent losses Holmes seems to be the favorite, but in this match up anything can happen. Predictions? Thoughts?

Cov Cath will NOT be the clear favorite in the 9th. You seem to think its Cov Cath 1, and then the rest of the field. There are 4 or 5 teams that can win region this year: Ryle, Beechwood, Cov Cath, Highlands and maybe Boone. It will be tough for Cov Cath to win their district, let alone the region.

Boone County is not better than Holmes. Holmes plays great defense and i think they are 10-15 points better than Boone. Not taking anything away from Boone Co., they played a great game tonight and they are a really good team, i just dont think they are as good as Holmes.

More injuries= more excuses for UK fans. Bad news for UK fans but it wont matter against Vandy, they are 15-20 points better than UK.

If Holmes can improve there outside shooting as a team they can be VERY dangerous. They seem very reluctant to shoot the open 3pt shot and want to take everything to the basket. They are very athletic and they can win many of there games in NKY on pure athleticism. When they play teams that can match there athleticism they need to have good shooting. That being said i think that Holmes is the best team in the 9th and is 10 points better than Cov Cath. Should be a thriller against CCH tuesday.
